He is our new MLB. Get used to it. He can flat out play. Incredible instincts combined with God given athletic ability and still some silly folks think he will be a backup. Heck, we played a kid with one working foot last year.

ABOUT the best you should hope for is maybe him getting inserted for Wilson..He wont start..Smith is your mlb. On third down..Smith is faster than LVE IS NOW..This pick was JJs idea of making a splash..Not Bpa, depth or anything..I hope we find a way to use him where he is not exposed quickly!

What exactly is a "stinger"? I've heard that term get thrown around a lot the last 30 years and was never clear on it. Is his neck something to be concerned about? What I mean by concern, is any joint, ligament or disk damage? Does anyone know anything else about his ability to stay on the field. He sounds great, but Sean Lee is great for 8 games or so a season. I don't want another great, highly paid linebacker that is hurt and can't play. I do feel much better about the pick since reading the write up OP did. Thank you for that.
