Are we going through the five stages of grief again?

Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just asking for a friend.
To late If I had to point my finger at any poster here....

It’s hard for me to care when we have that amount of WR’s on the roster I kinda wish they would trade another one for a FS.

I found myself going through the 5 D’s of dodgeball after the Switzer trade rather than the five stages of divorce

Is there something we're supposed to know? what kind of half baked thread is this
Not at all. It was just a simple question.

Was Switzer here long enough and did he show us enough to warrant any extreme heartache over a solid FO move?

Some random thoughts.

1) He was hardly here and did very little while here.
2) Dallas wasn't even thrilled when drafting him since their target was Donnell Pumphrey in that round. Switzer was a just a fall back pick.
3) For anyone confused as to why we moved Switzer over Beasley or TWill, they NEED to think about Oakland. Since two teams are involved in a trade, two teams have a say in the trade. We had interest in Jihad in 2016, but he went at 44 (too early for us unless we wanted him instead of Jaylon Smith). It looks as though Oakland had an interest in Switzer.

If I recall correctly, "Chuckie" was high on Switzer when he called the Cowboys games. I should say higher than he is for most players. On a side note, I always felt Gruden thought Dallas was a better team than what they showed on the field.

While I don't miss Switzer I can't hep but think he is going to be a good player for a team that let's him develop. He reminds me of Danny Amendola and Martellus Bennett, two guys Dallas had but because of the roster never really got a chance to develop as players until they went to other teams. Switzer didn't have all those punt returns in college because he can't play. He has RAC ability and I thought he was a little faster and stronger than Beasley. Beasley is quicker, but as we saw last year, the lack of top end speed and strength allowed teams to defend him pretty easily. This is why I think Dallas is looking to revamp its entire WR corp. Beasley is no longer a sure thing in the passing game.

The problem for Dallas is with Austin they have 3 guys who do the same thing. Austin is far more capable, IMO, of running the jet sweeps than Switzer which makes him more versatile. In any case, having too many guys at a position is certainly better than not having enough. Trading guys for picks or other players at positions of needs beat cutting them and getting nothing.

More like the new Lucky Whitehead — with less tenure and minus any drama.

Switzer was a fumbled-punt turnover waiting to happen and barely got on the field otherwise.

It should be interesting to see what he does under a real coach.
