They didn’t have the defenses. That becomes a big problem against the better teams you’ll face especially in playoffs.

Winning in the playoffs also requires your own defense to make big plays and hold the opposing offense down. Because no offense and QB can be expected to score a lot of points game in and game out against great defenses.

No cowboys QB has enjoyed a defense like that in many many years.

Nah. Maybe Goff still turns out to be great if McVay went somewhere else, but Goff isnt particularly bright IMO. I recall him not knowing the sun rose in the East when the conversation came up prior to the draft a couple years ago. McVay turned 32nd offense to 1st in one year, made Goff look really good, and Washinton took a step back without him.

Before Zeke and Tyron, his QB rating through 8 games was 97.9 last year.

The Cowboy offense this year is clearly going to be much much closer to the Cowboy offense of 2016.

In other words, Dak will be fine.

It's fair to say there isn't much talent in the top two. It's pretty good down roster.
