I am not sure I agree. Dez wasn't that special last year. if he was the best WR on our team, that says more about the state of our WR than Dez ability. Witten wasn't witten and his production had slowed down. Further more with OL problems, which are well chronicled, he had more blocking duties to protect Dak, which meant less routes he ran, which also affected Beasley. also, the play calling was horrendous and that was not garrett, that was Linehan....Beasley wasn't used properly. the play calling was predictable. add to it the left side of the line was a sieve and it led to a lot of problems.
you cant create things it is or it isn't ..its up to the players to make those few attempts positive so the staff calls those plays more..if they are under 40% comp % on DF throws etc the coaches wont keep calling them.. they simply as players need to complete those passes..it was both Dak and his WRs last year that caused the cowboys to stop going downfield..they winpy weren't good at it..
No, he is not setup to fail, if anyone fails it will be the coaching staff. Dak is our QB and he is a good and will be great, we need to stop doubting his ability, especially when no one ever offers an alternative. There is no one else I would rather have has our QB, he will work the crap out of this offense.

What in gods holy name are you blathering about? I mentioned 3 teams last year, all who beat us, and one that completely shut down the run game and who have ALL upgraded their D lines this year making the probability of that happening again a very real possibility.
