right and his service time is suspended also i believe

Yeah, I mean the Cowboys knew what they were getting into. They have nobody to blame but themselves if he does not pan out. Calculated risk that has not paid off yet. Maybe it will, maybe it won't.

I’ve lost track on what his point is
Something about all 2nd Round picks being All Pros immediately

DAL has a healthy JSmith for 3 more cheap years
DAL potentially has RGregory for 3 more cheap years
DAL has Awuzie for 3 more cheap years
DAL has CWilliams for 4 more cheap years

The book has barely been opened on any of them....let's see how the next couple years go

Is Lawrence a scrub then? Irving?

They dont have the Natural pass rushing abilities Randy has just waking up in the morning... D Law is a technician, Irving is a mismatch inside the Gregory dont need Scheme or Malik to take up to blocks on a stunt so law can get free... Law is a tech

Gregory has a leak town and I will say it again I have yet to see a rookie pass rusher go almost tit for tact in practice everyday with Ty Smith like he did his rookie year before he got hurt ... Thos training camp Live videos that was on cowboys website.

and the team did say that Randy was ahead of Demarcus Ware at time in their career in development soooo...

I know most light stats I watch the tape and traits and I have a eye for these cats, so I don't wait for it to happen like most im ahead of the game na mean

His last games coming off the street was 8 tackles and a sack and some more.. without all the training....

Man Ok yall can sit back and wait Im already over here on this side of town...

Just lie when most was so sure about Gregory now they eating hella crow now just coming back into the League
And im going to keep bringing it up

Hey less than a brainiac you're trying equate a player's rookie year when he was DRAFTED to accrued years in the league. As I've said many times now, enough times that even a grade schooler would get it, that a high 2nd round pick is supposed to be productive and/or be a starter starting his rookie season or for simpletons the year they are drafted. If they are not expected to be productive and or start their rookie season they are referred to as projects and teams don't waste high 2nd round picks on projects. BTW, bad job of trying to use a COLLEGE term of redshirting.

Just because you made up some criteria you pulled out of rectum the rest of us don't have to adhere to it

Ignorant is not understanding that players that are known not to be producing and/or are starters starting day 1 of their rookie year are referred to as projects and teams don't use high 2nd round picks on projects. There were no guarantees on what he might be able to do in the NFL when he was drafted and he may never be any better than he was last season and if so are you going to say he wasn't a waste of a high 2nd round pick?
No because I don't know. No one does. But to come out and say he needs to be All Pro this year or he is a bust is ridiculous.

The problem is your wrong.

1st Round - OL (83%) LB (70%) TE (67%) DB (64%) QB (63%) WR (58%) RB (58%) DL (58%)
2nd Round - OL (70%) LB (55%) TE (50%) WR (49%) DB (46%) QB (27%) DL (26%) RB (25%)

I know some here have a problem with those little words like and/or but they do change what those same people come a way with for understanding. As I have said too many times now but I'll do it again and expand it a little for those of you who just have a comprehension problem, a high 2nd round pick is expected to produce, which means gets on the field in sub packages or special teams or, that big word or, becomes a starter, starting day 1 of their rookie year or, that big word again, the year they are drafted. Players that the team knows when they draft them will see very limited snaps or none at all their rookie season are referred to projects. Teams don't waste high 2nd round picks on projects. Since Smith fits the project category he needs to get the need moved from wasting a high 2nd round pick on a project by being an All Pro this season, if not, then it will just be a continuation of the Cowboys wasting a high 2nd round pick on a project. Your little stat above is just STARTING and doesn't include PRODUCING which is what I've been saying all along.

Oh so you don't think if all 32 head coaches were asked, without saying any player names, if they believe a player taken with a high 2nd round pick is expected to produce and possible be a starter starting as a rookie that they wouldn't agree with that? That they would say that is some made up criteria? If you're a Smith fan, fine, but that doesn't change reality.

First game of the 2018 season...

If Randy Gregory has a currently active contract, a spot on the 47-man (active) roster and is on the sideline and available to play that day, then I’ll believe he’s been reinstated and this latest rumor (btw...Tuesday’s come and gone and still no word) isn’t just another tease.
