I didn't say he was. Please don't put words in my mouth. I quoted you word for word when you said he was drafted to save the day. Sorry pal, you can't turn this around on me.

I think the intricacies of the language escape you.
Let us review, canine lad.
I used "save the day" or something like that in a facetious way.
You jumped on it, liked the big lug you are, to try, in your own simpleton linguistic way, to make a point that he was, in fact, not drafted to save the day.
As an aside, I responded that neither was he drafted to fail 3 drug tests --- to remind you of the reason we were discussing him. Certainly, for now, that is Gregory's claim to fame. Or infamy.
But at what point did I say you used that term or reference?
How am I putting words in your big dog mouth? Huh?
Huh?
Methinks you are butt-hurt that I dissed your boy. And, before you get into a drooling lather, no, I did not say he was your boy because you say he is, I used it facetiously.
Learn to comprehend, laddie. Be discerning in your reading. Learn to distinguish between alluding and making a declarative statement ... aw, you are just not into the English language.
Blimey! Go fetch something, anything....

OK for those that can't figure out simple things for themselves. High 2nd round picks are expected to produce day 1 of their ROOKIE season if not starting. Players that the team knows when they draft them they they won't be producing or playing much at all or not at all their rookie season are called project players. Teams don't WASTE high 2nd round picks on project players. I'll bet it took you a long time to learn your ABC's too.
.

these are the facts - what % of draftees become multi year starters:
1st Round - OL (83%) LB (70%) TE (67%) DB (64%) QB (63%) WR (58%) RB (58%) DL (58%)
2nd Round - OL (70%) LB (55%) TE (50%) WR (49%) DB (46%) QB (27%) DL (26%) RB (25%)
3rd Round - OL (40%) TE (39%) LB (34%) DL (27%) WR (25%) DB (24%) QB (17%) RB (16%)
4th Round - DL (37%) TE (33%) OL (29%) LB (16%) WR(12%) DB (11%) RB (11%) QB (8%)
5th Round - TE (32%) DB (17%) WR (16%) OL (16%) DL (13%) RB (9%) LB (4%) QB (0%)
6th Round - TE (26%) OL (16%) DL (13%) WR (9%) DB (8%) RB (6%) LB (5%) QB (0%)
7th Round - DB (11%) OL (9%) QB (6%) WR (5%) DL (3%) LB (2%) RB (0%) TE (0%)

I'm convinced some will forever hate Jaylon until he can walk on water. Even then, I'm not sure. Maybe.

What??? You mean he can’t walk on water???

1 sack and two suspensions. Part of the issue is that if he fails ONE more test he is pretty much done in the NFL. As much as I disagree with the rule, its a reality.

He hasnt failed one since 2016 sir

yeah, and rightfully so. He stole $ for 2 years and produced squat. He deserved to get bashed, and if he makes it back, he deserves to be rooted for.

He did not get paid when suspended right?

So, Gregory needs to switch to LB to boost his chances of success?
