You haven’t paid attention, we’ve never had an offense good enough to carry the entire team, we’ve fielded some of the worst defenses,

Anybody who says depth means nothing, doesn’t know football, injuries happen , depth is a need, Eagles don’t sniff the playoff without great depth last season. You talk about Garrett not being able to field a standard defense, yet Jay Gruden who’s regarded as a great offensive mind has won nothing in 4/5 years.

Sorry.. Depth as an excuse for the coach means nothing is what I should have said..

Jay Gruden is a mediocre coach too.

Also, Garrett’s has 8 years. Plenty of time to have whatever he needs or figure out ways to coach around it.

If he needs an all world defense and backups then what’s the point of having him?

Stephen skips free agency so we’re constantly relying on rookies. If JG can’t coach under these circumstances then he needs to go.

8 years is enough proof that he can’t do it. 1 playoff win is pathetic.

For the last half of Romo's career, excluding the last 2 seasons, Romo had the most 4th quarter come from behind wins but on the other side of the coin the Cowboys lost more 4th quarter leads than any other team during those same years. Unfortunately Romo wasn't able to pull more of them out.

The handful of disgruntled fans here that hate on Garrett probably represent lest than 1/10000th of 1% of the income the Cowboys make on ticket sales, NFL property sales, or any other thing that generates money for the Cowboys and you think that you disgruntled fans protesting will change anything or you lack of spending will even be noticed by Jones? You sound like grade school kids sitting around say they are going to protest something and make the school change something and when it's all said and dome about 3 kids do something and they get suspended and nothing gets changed.
.
I bet if you take a poll of Cowboy fans nationwide most want Garrett gone. lol Garrett will be fired eventually. The only question is when because he is never going to win anything here. He's proven that.

Agreed. But getting rid of the puppet is the first step.
I only see one way in overcoming our FO and coaching staff. Elite Qb and defense. I don’t see much else overcoming it.

And that’s going to be awfully difficult because our FO and coaching staff are building the roster. It’s a double whammy which there may not be a solution. At least not the one we need.

Even when we had a greater HC like Bill this era he was meddled with losing his spirit ducking his tail and running.

I truly don’t believe Jerry wants another HC who could recieve more credit than him like Jimmy did.

Again, anyone who says depth means nothing in this violent sport ,loses all credibility. It isn’t a excuse for the coach, it’s a part of the sport and teams without it rarely wins.
Who said they need an all world defense, just some help would suffice.
You said 8 years is proof, you don’t run the team, his bosses feels he has the right stuff to coach his team, what you feel is enough doesn’t matter,

Lucky for Garrett you don't control his future. Do you really feel any better to bash Garrett every day? Has anything in the Cowboys changed from you and others daily bashing?

I bet you won’t, half the fans probably don’t know who the coach is and could care less, a lot of the fans are just in love with the brand.

First just about every coach eventually gets fired, it's part of the game. But I want to know where you got your crystal ball and how much did it cost that tells you for certainty that Garrett will never win a Super Bowl. Is it possible to get jackpot winning power ball numbers too? How about who wins the NBA this year?

This is a fan forum so I don’t know what you expect.

We’re going to talk about things that aren’t positive views.

And it’s a pretty safe bet Jerry will never win another SB until he allows a HC to run the show again like Jimmy.

Ya but there are a lot who make positive comments too. Again what changes have the Cowboys made from all of the negative comments? Does doing negative comments make you feel good inside? Is it like a drug for you?

Lets see I've watched 8 years of his coaching. That tells me all I have to know. It doesn't matter how the Cowboys play this year, They'll fall apart in the playoffs more than likely because of coaching. How many times last year did we all say wait until the second half adjustments? They never come. Garrett can beat the mediocre teams. He can't beat playoff teams consistently. But I know. 2 More years and he'll be in a SB because it takes that long to become a SB winning coach. lol Meanwhile other coaches with half the experience continue to win.

He couldn't even get us to a championship game with Tony Romo.

Garakett is the best ever. TO is just mad that he's not still playing for the best coach in the NFL, heck in the universe. Roger said Garakett is getting better too. Garapuppet can coach any high school team to a winning record but not to the playoffs. I hope he stay here forever.

Garrett hasn't justified his elevation from position coach.

I don’t think you’ve read many of my posts or paid attention. Not that you should or anything.

But I compliment some things about the team and I criticize the things that bother me.

This is a forum for discussing the Cowboys so if I think Garrett sucks and @Dre11 thinks I’m an idiot for thinking that then that’s fine. That’s what makes this place fun. We don’t have to always agree.

I just don’t get why you’re shocked that people could be critical about certain parts of the team.

I look forward to spotting the team we play in the playoffs 10 points if we even make it. A Garrett led specialty. Still smh at how we looked against Detroit. If we didn’t get that tipped int in the 3rd we take an L.

That's a huge fairy tale that fans like to spread. In the pregame for Super Bowl XLV there was a round table discussion with Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, the Moose, Jerry and Johnson and in front of millions of people Johnson admitted that he didn't have all the power and authority those outside of the organization thought he had. He said one of the things that bugged him the entire time he was in Dallas was having to go to Jerry for things he thought he should be able to do. Johnson then admitted that if Jerry hadn't put his foot down on a couple of drafts, 1989 and 1990, 2 out of the 3 triplets wouldn't have been Cowboys and the chances of winning those 3 Super Bowls would have been in question.
