The curious case of the complete TE and the 1tech

dlaw came out of nowhere to become a war daddy to make the 4-3 work.
if dlaw regresses this year, it is still easier to get a passrushing lb than a de.

marinelli forces players to the his scheme instead of adjusting his scheme to the player.
he has man-crushes on try-hard types and whatever you call golden cock types.
the first thing richard did was move bjones when he got here.

DLaw didn't come out of nowhere. i know i told you that if he was healthy he could play at a high level. And I am not reprising the LB argument again beyond to again say that you are ignorant to think it is easy to find 1 much less 2 OLB that can rush and cover.

And you are just throwing out cliches without any substance behind it to malign Marinelli. Nevermind the DL was far and away the strongest part of the defense last season.

Bottom line is you were wrong. Not only wrong but on the opposite end of reality in how things turned out. Similar to us having no issues with the cap floor despite your summer long handwringing there.

You are now a cross between chicken little and the boy who cried wolf. Bashing Garrett for likes is as low hanging fruit as it gets.

I sure do. That Bronco game was horrid in everyway. The defense actually kept us in it at first..but our oline let us down.Dak had no time. No sure it was Fred Beards fault...MAYBE he didn't have his best game, but it could be a case where the other team just outplayed us up front. But I do agree..that game stank. That was our mulligan.

So then you agree that Fred started slowly. I never said it was his "fault." He did miss a lot of blocks in the first few games.

Not sure. I have to go back and watch the tape. All I know is I trust the guy 100%..but if he did miss a block or two,I doubt it affected the team all that dire. He IS human. Cooper equals garbage..hence isn't here anymore and been replaced with a rookie. That should speak for itself. Tyron is the guy I am concerned with going forward healthwise. Bad backs just don't go away and stay away. I live with that myself..its unpredictable stuff. It bares watching.

DLaw had one healthy season before this with 8 sacks and then put up 14.5 in his second full season. Its only "coming out of nowhere" if you don't understand that players miss time with injury.

DLAW is a way underrated player..even now. He's an even better person too. He does a good interview..great team guy and unselfish. We hit pay dirt with him.

i dont think anyone, including you, were predicting dlaw would have 14 sacks last year.
the #1 issue with dlaw was his back.
it still is his back.
that is why he got a franchise tag.
if he regresses, the dl would have issues.

saying the dl was the best unit out there is not saying much, considering the lbs were a mess and the backfield was mostly rookies.

'bashing garrett for likes' - so that is what you call it.
it is more like frustration from having this cancer coaching the team.
the purpose of the thread so - gee they say rico is no good, would it not be nice if we could trust that and it is not another example of forcing player to fit scheme because coaching is too inflexible and dumb.

BTW..Green and the word "fine" do not go in the same sentence. That's blasphemy. At no point was that dude ""fine." He can't stay on the field(conditioning)> ..and plus he sucks.

8 sacks vs. 14.5 sacks?
you equate those 2?
there are quite a few de's with 8 sacks.
