He is still a basketball player and a 1 trick pony so far. In pick and roll top of the key basketball basketball, the guy comes free when a team mate picks the defender. The free man get's the ball. Try that in football and you get run right the **** over! Pick plays can work in football but they have to be practiced, and not obvious, over and over again. Trust me, there are LB'ers in the NfF savvy enough not to get picked. There is much more grabbing and jersey pulling in the NBA than NFL and the NBA is loosey goosey with it. I've seen Lebron take 3-4 steps without a single dribble. That used to be called travelling

well we shall see. i do recall the 'coaches' being impressed by what he did with romo in practice against our '1st' team backfield.

it is really sad we cannot trust what our coaches say because of lack of intelligence, flexibility etc.

Don't blame it on the coaches. Rico has a steep learning curve as a football player. He's been on the PS for what, 2 years? and missed all of last year after the first real hit he has taken in football. That does not bode well for longevity

the coaches have shown an inflexible approach towards players and scheme.
i definitely do blame that on the coaches.
he was not on the PS for 2 years.
he was healthy midway through last year but they did not removed him from the ir.
they should have found out what he had last year.

Yes we shall see. IMO this is Rico's last summer of "we shall see" in Dallas. It's only my opinion

He was healthy mid way through last season and they activated Jarwin. That does not bode well for Rico Suave either

I'm neutral on Rico.

He is very physically talented.

Social media makes him appear goofy but there are some top notch Pro Athletes that appear to be morons if you follow all of their antics on social media.

We really don't know much at all about him; however, he is at the point that his status will be quickly determined this preseason.

If he can block 10 times with 1 mistake, then he has a chance.

Last preseason he would make some Wow blocks that none of the other TEs on the roster could make but then he would have 6 or more mistakes out of 10 blocking snaps.

that is why he got a franchise tag.
if he regresses, the dl would have issues.

it is more like frustration from having this cancer coaching the team.

I never said that he would get X amount of sacks. Frankly making precise predictions like that given uncertainty is a laughable expectation. I did tell you that outside of a particular gene expression and joint injuries that injuries in general were not predictive. That includes bulging discs.

You have no idea what the franchises reasoning was for giving DLaw a franchise tag. You really like to make **** up and there is no reason to think that his back was the reason.

And let's address your current whinge about the 1T. Do you think Paea, Price, Ash, or Collins played poorly at the 1T last season?

And I notice you have no response to my point about Garrett's ability to develop talent. You just wring your hands and stamp your feet in frustration.
