Honestly, I think that we'll be fine at WR. We're deep enough at the position, and I like the talent that we've assembled there. I'm not too worried about it.
Im gonna worry till i see it..Integration especially of a rookie always a butt tightener!..Hell two rookies, maybe thrre on offense. LOL

I suppose so. *puts my paws above my head relaxing* Still, what'll happen will happen. I may be a tad too trusting, but I trust our WR coach to develop them. I like what I'm hearing about from the OTAs.

Eagles - kept their frontline guys and added Bennett. Seems they are not so high on their top 10 DE though. They lost a lot of periphery, depth, and ST particularly on defense so should struggle if they mount injuries unlike this past year.

Commanders - 34 year old Smith who relies on his mobility is a downgrade from Cousins who made a ton of plays for them. Really seem to have no identity and piecemiel. Could surprise but doubt it.

Giants will suck. They lost their best OL in Richberg as well as Pugh. Martinez will help but Solder has been bad for the Patriots the last couple years allowing more pressure than Flowers who is to replace. Eli will continue to regress.

As it stands now

Eagles
Cowboys
Commanders
Giants

We should compete for the division but picking us over the champs is unrealistic.

By top ten DE, do you mean Barnett?

They are talking about him as a starting DE, with Bennett being a backup. Philly rotates DEs a lot anyway.

Eli's YPA has fallen for the last 3 years straight. I think he's clearly in decline. Saquon will help them prop him up a bit, but he is simply not a good quarterback anymore IMO.

He’s getting older. But it’s been the oline there in nyc. Guarantee it goes up this year.

I dont think the Eagle defense gets worse, maybe the same, and that dcord is a beast and the reason the Eagles won a sb..

I concur with that, BUT, if our offense manages to stay healthy, I do think that we can at least split the series with them. I think we have the type of offense that can match their defense play for play. The question will be, can our defense match their offense?

sydla, he played with a torn rotator cuff the entire year...i would expect bigger things from him this season based on year two in the system and being able to easily raise both arms above the shoulder lol...
Jeffrey is good, but he is an injury prone player that just underwent surgery that has 6 month recovery period, which will cause him to miss all of training camp if not the preseason. The Eagles also just paid him a boatload of money.

Paying Bennett $10m AAV to be a backup?

That's the chatter up here. Again, they rotate DEs a lot so they'll probably end up with similar snap counts so it probably won't matter a ton who starts. Last year, Graham, Curry, Barnett and Long all had over 400 snaps.

This seems to be the battle cry every year.......... if he's healthy he's going to be awesome.

He's rarely healthy. And if he is healthy, he's still not in the mold of Bryant, Jones, Green. I am not sure why it bothers Eagles fans to admit reality. Jeffrey is a very, very, very good WR but not on the upper echelon of WRs in this league.

The Eagles face the repeat factor that seems to derail teams in getting back as they become target #1 and no East team has repeated as champ since they did it 13 seasons ago. Not discounting what they did because that was impressive with those injuries but it is tough the next season on SB teams in the NFC.

Yeah he’s been nagged with injuries his whole career. He’s a very good WR when healthy. Not in the mold of Julio or AJ...but better than Bryant I would say. He did a lot to open up the field for Ertz and Agholor.

I just don't get it. "Standard Eli" for three more years is one of the worst QBs in the NFC who is immobile, with a horrible completion percentage with the propensity for crucial turnovers and poor decision making..

As teams like the Bills, Vikings, and Broncos have show us in the past, teams with talent on both sides of the ball simply cannot win without a good to great QB and certainly one that doesn't turn the ball over.

The Giants in my opinion will be the doormats of the Division and the best thing to happen to the NFC East is they didn't draft a QB from this years class, four of which have franchise QB potential.

Giants went 11-5 in 2016 with that same ol' standard Eli. They won 2 SB's with std. Eli (and he got an MVP despite the D beating up on the Patsies). I am a firm believer in Eli being just a game manager, lucky in many of his throws, and being a turnover maching. His total turnovers essentially equal his TD's. He'll be a 1st ballot HOF'er based on playing in NY and being the QB on those 2 SB teams even though he is just average. I didn't say bad things about him in my original analysis due to me being on the Giant website and knowing politeness should be the rule of the day at their place.

Dude, I totally messed up. Meant Antonio Brown, not Bryant. Whoops. LOL.

Seems like everyone improved in some Areas bar the Cowboys who i cant tell if they really improved or not.

Skins bolstered their D-Line with big run Stoppers, also changed starting QB to a more safer Player. RB improved
Giants improved their O-Line and Running Game, should give them a new Dimension to a declining Eli
Eagles Keep loading up that D-Line, get Wentz back

Cowboys ? Spend a lot of Money on their O-Line and improved it with a 2nd Round Pick. LB is a huge questionmark with Hitchens gone and LVE a Rookie, Lee one hit away from being out months and Jaylon Smith hasnt lived up to his potential. DBs still Young and shaky although might improve, might not (see A.Brown). WR and TE dropoff. QB and RB questionmarks? Can they produce like 2016 or more like 2017?
D-Line should be slightly better with hopefully no Suspensions and might get Gregory and Tapper back.

As usual the NFCE will be a dogfight

Ill Be the first to admit that Howie is an aggressive beast when he has Luries blind authorization...Then he does ignorant things you never do in a draft..Reach to draft a TE you think the Cowboys will take to keep them from taking one. NEVER draft Someone because you think you are taking them away from another team..Draft for your needs and BPA...Howie is a funny mfr!

Eagles "stealing Goedert from Dallas" is a good story line for the media, especially after the announcement of Witten's probable retirement. Add in the division rivalry and the story practically writes itself. I think the Eagles were more concerned with jumping ahead of the Patriots. Of course it didn't hurt that the Patriots were drafting 1 spot behind Dallas. After the Eagles selected Goedert, the Patriots traded their pick to the Bears.

If I remember correctly, the Eagles ran more 2 TE sets in 2017 than the rest of the NFL. So we didn't draft Goedert to keep him away from Dallas. We drafted him because we think he'll be a good addition to the team.

Where do get $10 million. I think it's more like $5.65 million.

$5.65M is his cap hit for 2018. He signed a 3 year, $30MM contract, so technically his AAV is $10MM a year. But his guaranteed money was less than that.
