JJ is gambler and some of his wilder bets may pay off, soon

for example, if Jaylon is healthy ... that one wild bet might just pay off huge ... are geniuses smart? or lucky?

notice you have to be bold, willing to gamble, to get lucky - and smart to make the most of luck. at the end of the day I think JJ's bold and LG's smart.

Oh, so arrogant. Of course, you have moral currency to second-guess Stephen. You weigh nothing in the game as opposed to Stephen's $200 million inheritance he is betting on this team's long-range health. Yes, pile on his intellectual acuity as if you are superior. From where I am sitting, you are not.

Jerry Joes was once a great GM, as proven by his tenure in the early 1990s.

That was when he was in charge of everything from jocks to socks.
It was then that he hired in 1989 a genius for that time, Jimmy Johnson.

And let's look at his curricula vitae: No one gets into the HOF for no good reason.

But, yes, over the next 22 years he hired a succession of never do wells, has-beens and goofs such as Wade Phillips. Yes, he let his ego take over --- in the draft, player acquisitions, cap issues and trying to coach.
But yet he helped revolutionize the NFL. He is respected as an owner but not yet as a GM.

Blokes, one of these days, when he gets a top 5 defense and a credible passing offense, he will again be at the top of the world, as an owner AND GM.

Yes, then we will hail him as a great GM with more than 3 Super Bowl championships.

Few have accomplished more. It is clíché to criticize Jerry, but, financially, he is a great man. As soon as we win a Super Bowl, his critics will turn tale.

Most assuredly, but the AFC has the Pats, the supreme beings of teams. Its not that their talent is supreme, it is that the Pats are supremely well coached.
