Posters should check out the whole story before going on an assumption. News headlines rarely tell anything close to the truth. The Cowboys and League knew about the event the day after it happened. Most reports show that White did everything by the book in the incident and most believe police blew the investigation (no surprise). Even the legal community as a whole believes that it will be dismissed in court the first day.

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at this point based on his version of the story. I had a buddy in a somewhat similar situation where after a road rage incident, the guy showed my buddy a gun through the window. My buddy was licensed to carry and pulled his gun out as well.

The guy then called the cops from his car and claimed my buddy was waving a gun at him.

Now you know that will never happen on here, or anywhere else with most people. Even if / when nothing comes of this. White will now be branded a knucklehead forever. It is just the way many of out fans are about every little thing. And people in general as well.

Was following a guy in his pick up, this was like 3 times the size of my car, a 2 seater. I was following at a safe distance to. On a 2 lane access road from the highway. He slams on his brakes, like he almost missed his turn. But he did not turn. I had to swerve and go around him. I guess I could have stopped as I had plenty of distance to do so.

But I figured he was turning so went around him. 400 yards up the road was my place to turn, put on my turn signal in plenty of time. He did not like he had to slow down, even though he had plenty of time to change lanes and go around me. So he gets in front of me, slams on his brakes. If not for me slowing down and turning, I would have rear ended him.

I didn't get mad, as it would have done no good. I just thought, what a freaking idiot. And one of these days someone sadly will get injured from him.

Had someone do something similar on a highway in Florida years ago, I was on the entrance ramp, only one car on the highway, they kept blocking me to get on the highway, so I had to drive on the shoulder for a while. I slow down, they slow down, I speed up they sped up. But this time, a highway patrol came up over the bridge, and seen this, and pulled him over.

Having a gun is NOT illegal. Neither is using it for self protection if warranted.

Finding the gun has no legal bearing on this. He's allowed to carry the gun, he's licensed.

Or the truth is halfway between what happened and his PR statement. Its not hard to picture him being in the right initially but then taunting the guy, braking later, etc. From the description of the situation and the other party it sounds like Marquez is in the right, but he could have contributed to the situation a lot more than his attorney is saying.

Either way, IMO its likely all this is forgotten in a week or so.
