What will sicken me is when people use the state of the WRs and TEs as an excuse for why the QB sucks again. He is every bit as bad as the guys he's throwing to.

Or should I say the guys he's throwing in the general direction of.

I think this is totally accurate. Who all has a less proven recieving corp?

That doesn’t mean they’re going to suk but it certainly doesnt look promising without more evidence . We shall see but so far speculation is based solely on optimism not anything concrete.

But my hunch is WR and TE will be priorities in next draft if QB isn’t too( lol) but most likely that will be part of the excuse why Dak struggles again and we miss playoffs.
What evidence would you require?

Only Baltimore, Buffalo, Miami, Jets, SF, Tennessee and Washington could be considered close.

You could split hairs pitting those seven teams versus Dallas' corps.

The first line of the article:

"When you remove that dominant offensive line and quarterback Dak Prescott from the equation...."

Well, nobody's doing that, so I guess the rest of it is just about pointless.
When you remove the proven players you have unproven players
I guess if you remove enough players every offense would be bad

I’d begin with previous history and stats of our cumulative recieving Corp.

We don’t have a TE with more than 9 career receptions. We can start there. lol

T Will and Beasley are our top recievers beginning the season. Does that scare anyone? Lol

I’d argue our only serious threat is Elliott coming out of the backfield .

Hurns meager production in Jax is mediocre at best. Austin was a 1st round flop in LA.

Gallup our third round pick is best hope at a top reciever but again with no proven evidence. All we have is a hope and prayer at this point.

And that’s all riding on trying to compliment a QB who’s has some struggles and concerns of his own with no chemistry with all of these additions. I think it has a good possibility of an epic flop.

I really don't understand how we could be worse than last year. Dez sucked last year and nobody else crossed 600 yards.

Between oline health, 16 games of zeke, and no more wasted targets or dropped passes on crucial plays by Dez, I think we'll be ok.

I agree they should be near the bottom of a preseason ranking, they're new and/or unproven and we're watching a scheme change take place. I think they'll be much higher in the postseason rankings. Gonna surprise some people I think.
There is no where to go but up

Well, let's be honest here. Dak hasn't had a truly elite No. 1 WR or WR's since he's been in Dallas. Witten, as absolutely great as he's been during his career was at the very tailend of his career. Same with Dez. Who's next? Jags.
It's fair to rank Dallas at the bottom in terms of WR's, but that's simply going by the unknown IMO.

It's not like we have TO from 2006-2008 or Dez from 2011-2014 or Witten from 2007-2012.

Facing facts, if Romo were still the QB, this group would not be more than what they have shown either.

The added concern with Prescott does little than make it worse.

I think it’s fair to argue that the decline of our recieving Corp was due to Daks inability.

How else can we account for all recieving production down last year?

It wasn’t just Dez and Wittens declining numbers. More excuses for Dak.

We’ll see if we have another struggling passing offense who’ll we see fault with. My bet is this laughable group of recievers . Lol

Wr's are suspect and the defense remains unproven so the only part of the team that is elite is the OL and RB. Hope none of them get hurt.

They are unknowns for sure that might work out but they also have the potential to sink the 2018 season.

This front office took a massive risk in basically fielding a team of skill players with only one real proven commodity - Elliott.

What elite WR/TE does Dak have that they're hiding under a rock?

Right. Romo did nothing to elevate recievers like Dez, Witten , Lauren Robinson and Miles Austin to name a few. You can’t be serious?
Stop trolling, that's not at all what he said. Does Dak have a TO? No. Move along.

Only Austin and Robinson would fit in with the talent level on this group.
