Post an obscure and pointless fact

Elvis' 1st single release in '60...after his return home from the army was...
Stuck On You/Fame and Fortune.

Stuck On You would reach #1 on bilboard...Fame and Fortune would reach #17.

the single sold a million advanced copies in pre-order...easily going gold.

Elvis had 4 consecutive bilboard #1 hits upon his return from military service.
•Stuck On You...his first #1 of the 60's.
•It's Now or Never...his biggest selling single at the time.
•Are You Lonesome Tonight...Elvis had all the lights turned off in the studio and sung this classic ballad by candle light.
•Surrender...recorded this classic at the His Hand In Mine gospel session...his voice was never better.

Centaurs may have a basis in reality; there was a tradition in Thessaly of hunting bulls on horseback and the very word centaur may have originally meant bull-killer
I know the Minotaur was a human with a bull's head, which lived in the maze of king Minos, hence the name....but I don't know where the word "centaur" originated.

In 1945 Byron Nelson won 18 of 35 PGA tournaments including 11 in a row...
Which is why he has his own classic tournament.

It's just a shame that a corrupt company like AT&T sponsors it. I'm sure he is turning over in his grave.

The man is a true Texas Legend.
