Stephen Jones is the main driver in getting rid of Dez . He glistened when he talked about how Romo wasn't going to get his job back. He wanted to start a new era in Dallas.

He asked for that response from Dez by saying something stupid like that. But the playcalling Dez? You mean the same offense that you got 41 TDs between 2012 and 2014? That's a dumb argument. Why don't you just go after S.Jones?

I do agree with that. I've been supportive of Dak but he has to man up and take over this team if he's going to be the true leader.

Ok.

/Relaxed me.

Dez, love ya bro. Ignore the noise. But don't go after our lifeblood on D.

Not even if it was warranted in your eyes.

It will do you no favors, my boy.

Not speaking on Lee like that.

Still, I loved you to the end. And I don't doubt for one second that our coaching stifled you, and that you may have fell victim to the Dallas Cowboys Country Club™

But Lee ain't part of that. Lee is all warrior. All work. No frills. No gimmicks. No Romo-Witten-JG group hug. (Love Romo, but it is what it is)

Still, homeboy, don't go at our "soul" on defense, mang.

As right as you are about JG, stop there. Even if there's truth beyond it. You just cant do it, my man. It's gonna hurt you with other teams. Remember Bennett, my boi? This reads like he and Witt, just more odd due to oppo sides of the field. And Lee has shown nothing but professionalism and true heart to our team. It's ******* time stamped and recorded on Amazon.

Torn.

Obviously, as my posts in here show.

Coaches and Org failed Dez, now he's taking it out on the wrong people. Go after JG, Cue Ball etc, not Lee. He's off limits. There's nothing any Cowboys fan has ever seen that shows otherwise.

Rawhide! :star::starspin:
Poor guy is spiraling

I have never seen more people take pleasure in his demise that were supposed to be friends

This site is thick with them

He is finding out that the whole Idea of Dallas as a family and Jerry as a patriarch was BS.... they threw him over without a rope and then threw chum in the water

Can I have your credit card number and security code? It's for a donation to Sean Lee's charity. I think you're much too inebriated to do that responsibly at the moment. Just let me know how much I should wire to myself, I mean Lee's charity, and I'll handle it pronto. You sleep well buddy.

This is fan boy nonsense

TO called out this offense 10 years ago about its simplicity and predictability. Stop caping for this inept coaching staff

Dez didn’t deserve what he got from this franchise.

Garrett can run the worst offense in the NFL and keep his job season after season but Dez has a down year and they boot him.

He tends to get dramatic when he's eating soup. He does love his soup...

I tend to like a well-made bouillabaisse, but it's very hard to find in the desert and it takes way too many ingredients to make while justifying the cost.

Dangit! I want a bouillabaisse!
Now you made me hungry and envious!!!

YOU!! :D

Not sure Jones deserves the criticism he's getting for what he said. It's just a statement of fact. If he's throwing Dez under the bus, he's also throwing Witten under the bus. But what he's really saying is that "great players want the ball" and Dak has to handle the pressure of that better. Of course, now we no longer have any great players among the receivers and tight ends, so that shouldn't be a problem.

He is saying Dez and Jason being in his ear was at least part of Dak's problem last season. How else do you take that?

Dez is sour grapes at this point.
I am happy the distraction of needing to feed him the ball is gone given his drop off in ability.
That said, there's a part of me that still likes Dez, given that he overcame his hard upbringing, at one point I think he said his house didn't even have hot water when he was 15. His Mother made things difficult.
On the other hand, he's right about the
predictable playcalling and I'm hopeful that this is forcing them to have to adapt and become creative much like how Tony's back issues forced them to become a running team.
They don't seem to adapt unless they have no other choice.

Exactly, he 's saying Dez and Jason being in his ear was at least part of the problem. There's no other way to take that out of context.
And yet you do not see Witten going ballistic about it.

Haven’t read this entire thread, but if I read OP correctly, Dez is dogging Sean Lee?

Red flag.

If I’m making conclusions based on the info available, I’m siding with Lee over Dez. And for the record I’ve generally been a Dez supporter (post history does not lie), but bringing Lee’s name up in this soap opera does not help Dez’s case, IMO. It makes him look worse.

Neither does Romo, what's your point?

When did I say he was "all that"? Seems in your rush to defend Garrett and Linehan's faults, you've resorted to inventing even more things.

This isn't about whether he should have taken that deal or not, but I agree with you that he should have.

I have never been a fan of Garrett, he a puppet coach, but I do agree with him with regards to having the right players on your team, character guys.........but It's deja vu all over again, T.O and Dez, both Diva receivers, who both undermined their team on and off the field, both blamed the head coach, both blamed the offensive coordinators playcalling, Both blamed the team captains, both didn't run crisp routes, both dropped too many passes, both ran limted routes, both couldn't get off press coverage, both were more interested in fighting battles at the line of scrimmage instead of getting into their routes......see the pattern.....When your limited or diminishing skills are the reason why your cut, they both blame everyone else instead of themselves!

You have to be some kind of homer to defend this garbage coaching staff and front office that puts their personal ego’s ahead of the team.

He’s right, but at the same time wasn’t he part of the reason we simpflied routes?
They simplified routes because the organization went cheap with their WR coach.

It's funny how Romo had no problems when Dez would go off(positively) on the sideline, he would simply look at Dez like:cool: and tell him to get open. This team's image is crashing and burning and it's only week one of training camp:laugh:
