There really weren’t winners and losers that came out of Dez Bryant’s Twitter tirade on Friday evening, there was just Scott Linehan and Sean Lee standing in a bunch of rubble.

S-s-s-s-s-s-sean “Snake” Lee handled the awkward cards dealt his way in perfect fashion, doing what leaders do. He didn’t deflect, owned up for his own actions, and shockingly said that Dez himself needed to be more accountable

I’m not a Linehan fan by no means, I believe this offense needs more innovation, and hopefully his guy Kellen Moore can help with that. But I believe the reason Dez wasn’t moved around is because the coaches didn’t trust him to know all the assignments.

Let's keep making this Dez issue bigger than it is...................
No kidding!

Dez has his limitations which limited the offense. Let's not put this all on Linehan.

As I mentioned in another thread, the Cowboys were the 5th highest scoring team in the league in 2016.

I must be the only one who likes the nickname "Snake Lee" :D

He slithers through the blockers to get to the ball ..
I will agree. Now if he’s hiding mice for midnight snacks, then I’m going to question Dez’s abrupt assumption.

Maybe Stan Lee will turn one Sean Lee into a slithering, egg sucking, mouse swallowing, football super hero.

The main culprit here is not Lee or Linehan. Its Garrett. He needs to dump that playbook once and for all and start learning how to be a coach of a football team.

It amazes me how this guy gets away with being a coach of an NFL team and not knowing the finer details on how to call plays.

And on Scott is where the heat should be. Frankly, I wish Garrett would go back to calling the plays

too often the formations made no sense, the over compensation for a missing Zeke and none for a missing Tyrone. And what OC would let Lucky and Dunbar leave and replace them with big slow guys? who's call was that? I imagine someone who can't spell blitz.

Yeah, maybe I'm too Xs and Os, but Dez and others have a serious point. This O coaching staff often went brain dead last year. Go back and watch the ATL and SEA games and try to convince yourself rationale people called the formations and plays.

And none of us know how much authority Dak has at the LOS, either way - that's coaching

I'm going to say this in Garrett's defense, I wish he would call the plays. The 2013 season proved to me Garrett could spread the field and score big, so did his career.

I've never liked Scott, he lacks intensity. I think Murray made him and he got super lucky with Romo and Dak. Cutting or benching much O speed was utterly stupid last year, made it harder to adapt after having geared up for less Zeke but more power running. That was dumb.

Having watched Jason play and call a lot of games ... I just feel like he didn't make those decisions, pre or during season. If he had the veto he should have used it.

The first drive for the offense and Dez last season. Dez lines up in 4 different positions and runs 7 different routes. You can't even make it through an entire quarter before debunking what Dez said.

No, no it didn’t. Any other ownership, yes. JJ thinks of Linehan like his binky or blankey.

The heat is always more on the Cowboys assistant coaches than Garrett. It’s by design. If the team fails, Jerry will hold the assistants accountable so he can keep his boy in place.

So Dez is a 8 year vet former pro bowler and didn't know his assignments? Well what happened to the other receivers last year? I guess no receivers knew their assignments and couldn't be trusted, Dez got the blame! Coaching staff offensively have no excuses this year.

Improve the Offense or Linehan and JG need to go. It’s JG playbook. Consists of about a half a page book.
