Yep, Jerry is still living in fantasy land, and has no intention whatsoever to hold Garrett accountable. In an interview this morning he gave to 105.3 The Fan (Dallas flagship station) he brought up the 1993 team that lost the first two games and ended up winning super bowl 28.

Hey Jerry, helllllooooooo.... you don't have the 1993 team on the field, not even close. You certainly don't have Jimmy Johnson on the sidelines either. Instead you have have one of the worst head coaches (for the length of tenure) incompetently running things.

He also said he avoided the media after the game because he didn't feel like answering questions about Randy Gregory. Sounds like he might know something on the horizon in that regard. Or maybe he was avoiding questions about his favorite puppet.

Unreal.

He starts off by lying about why he avoided the media. He said that he wanted to avoid the Gregory questions but who was going to ask about him, the biggest thing was the abysmal offensive performance and the quarterback.
A perfect illustration of this guy’s absolute cluelessness about being a a GM. He’s either clueless about what’s really important or he’s just lying. And he has a “lifetime contract”.

One other point- As a resident of the Dallas area, I NEVER listen to the Cowboys flagship radio station “The Fan” because they never ask Jerry or Stephen any tough questions and they drink the Jones Cartel kool aide every year. My Cowboys media choices don’t include “The Fan”.

Interviewer: What do you think about the game?

Jerry: We are getting some help, Irving is coming back, Woods is coming back...

Unless these guys can play offense, expect some of the same.
The sad truth about that comment is that JJ believes his own BS. Quality NFL GMs ask tough questions about worst case scenarios instead of constantly believing their own best case scenarios.

:lmao2::lmao::laugh::lmao:

It's going to be a long season.

To be fair, most owners don't make themselves available to the press after games.
This just stood out because Jerry usually does.

Jerry’s been using whiskey as coffee creamer again.

It's going to take a 5-6 win season for ol Jerruh to wake up

It's Irving to the rescue. lol What does he and Woods have to do with the inept offense? And relying on Irving for anything is stupid anyway. I'm about done with him.
