If Dak can't throw, how do you explain 2016?

I'm to the point where I'm fine with Dak being traded. The amount of complaining and bickering over the guy is making following the cowboys highly unpleasant. Personally, I think he will be a solid qb, and he'd be smart not to have his career sacrificed to prop up Garrett. It will be refreshing not to have to hear the constant groans and aches from people who hate Dak because 'he took Romo's job'.
At the moment, what is Dak worth? A sixth rounder? I'm not even sure we could get that for him. Better off to keep him and see if he can figure this mess out. Despite everything, I don't want to toss the season away by starting Cooper Rush and White's not ready.

Nah, better to get rid of the dude since apparently on this board, he sucks so bad. Continuing to play him will automatically be throwing away the season. Some team will give up something for him. The front page is literally filled with threads bashing the dude. Mike White with the cannon arm should be ready to launch bombs down the field to Terrance Williams and Hurns.

White is nowhere close to being a NFL starter. Rush is simply not consistent. Dak is the only answer we have and to be honest, he's more of a question than an answer. Still, he has the upside if he can ever figure out what's going on. I swear it seems like he's got the Yips or something. Just plant and throw!

Starting to lose a bit of faith in dak as well cause he isn’t improving.

However two things need to change.

1. The coaches need to do a much better job of giving the guy opportunities to get into Rythm. Same thing when Romo has this offense. Things pick up when we go up tempo and allow the web to audible.

2. This offense is far too predictable. Incompletion on first down. Always a run on 2nd. Ect ect. Been watching this bs for years.

You either trust dak or you don’t. I’d rather go down with him throwing 4 ints in a game then watch the boringness I witnessed in Carolina

If dak can't throw, how do you explain 2016?

If zeke was a crutch for dak in 2016, how do you explain week 1?
if dak can throw, how do you explain 2017?

we can do these games all day long. from what i recall, he missed a lot of passes but no one was there to intercept. i loved seeing the streak go on but knew it was only a matter of time before those passes didn't hit the ground.

nothing to explain. We hit the jackpot with Dak. He is truly a top flight QB. Only because our coaching is so horrible is he being kept down. ONly a truly horrible coaching staff could cause such a great QB like Dak to consistently throw for below 200 yards, that and a horrible Oline.

Numbers can be misleading. He was also asked to do less than everyone except Tyrod Taylor.

Again his numbers were 4th best and they won 13 games as a rookie, at the toughest position to learn

You said that already.

The reason he was asked to do less than every other QB was Zeke Elliott.

By your logic .So does that apply to Aikman too? Maybe Aikman shouldn't be in the HOF

and in Romo's absence 30-point outputs are ALSO absent. That's some theory, Professor Soupcan.

2017 the 6 games before the OL imploded:

3 25-Sep DAL 28 @ ARI 17
4 1-Oct LA 35 @ DAL 30
5 8-Oct GB 35 @ DAL 31
7 22-Oct DAL 40 @ SF 10
8 29-Oct DAL 33 @ WAS 19
9 5-Nov KC 17 @ DAL 28

avg 31.6 for the stretch

Its a little bit of everything but mostly the O line. Romo was magical at extending plays, Dak doesn't "feel" a defender coming like Romo did.........
This is the biggest issue with Dak. He has terrible pocket awareness. When he sees pressure he moves to a position where the linemen are taken out of a play. I've seen multiple times where pressure is coming from the right and if he just moved to his left the lineman would be in position to keep blocking. But Dak would move to the right and then have to scramble to get away from the defender. I hope he can work on the pocket awareness. He just seems like he lost all confidence he had his rookie year

Me saying Zeke was more important to 2016's team than Dak has nothing to do with whether or not Aikman should be a Hall of Famer.

Talking about logic- did I say Dak was bad in 2016?

I'm pointing out how crazy it is to "IMPLY" Dak did nothing in 2016, by saying voters were biased in selecting Dak as ROY.

I said they're biased towards QBs. You're the one saying Dak did nothing.
