Whoever thought this recieving Corp would be ok should be fired.

You can’t come in with less talent and expect better results. It’s amazing we expect our coaching to elevate lesser talent . Lol

We want to place blame everywhere but the talent or lack of it.

Don’t buy the rhetoric coming out of front office and Jerry. They’re just trying to cover up their poor personnel decisions.

Our passing offense is struggling because of a lack of talent.
I think we have the best depth at the position in years, but chemistry with that many new guys all learning the system isn’t easy. Plus, most of them missed a lot of camp with injuries. It’s no excuse for poor OL play or inability to run the ball, but the passing game will take some time to get with Hurns, Austin, Gallup, and Thompson. That’s most of the talent.

Should be a shock to no one. Get rid your only receiver, how you figure you get better?

The lack of reps together in preseason could be the main problem, I believe we will get better as the season goes on. Ezekiel didn’t look to explosive either, it’s funny how good looney played, of course he got alot of reps during the season. When Martin got hurt, the coaches lost that nuts. Ezekiel started off rusty in 2016 too. This was dams And Ezekiel’s first game in 3 weeks, the rust will come off and chemistry will come, if that happens with the defense continuing to grow we could be a very good football team , if not say goodbye Garrett.

The narrative that dak was only struggling because Zeke wasn't in is fading fast and dak is being exposed as a bad passer period

From what i have seen by whathing the 22 our WRs were open alot. And i also am very satisfied by our TEs play.

We have a QB issue. Thats all.

You must not know how big Rico is.
I do an regular season games=/=preseason games especially against two all pro caliber linebackers including the best mlb in the game. You overestimate Rico's ability.

Nah. Zero overestimation. Let's see if he dresses today. If so, then that to me will me an indicator that this coaching staff is taking things seriously.

Could be but the point of this thread was our recieving Corp which was supposed to improve our passing offense after releasing Dez and Wittens retirement which doesn’t appear to be the case.

No that wasnt the point of your op. Your points were that our receivers are less talented and that the FO should take responsibility for their bad decissions.

In fact our FO never made the statement that they signed those new guys with the aim that they will be better then Dez or Witten. Where did you get that from?

Maybe you meant to write that you think our receiving corps would be better without dez and witten. But in fact you didnt. I can only answer to what you write. Not what you think.

And seriously from what i ve seen so far our te are way better in getting open then witten. Witten wss great on one Route. Our te got open alot even on deep patterns.

Dez couldnt get open against one on one coverage anymore. I think we are better right now with gallup.

IMO. Beasley and TWill are under used and under estimated

overall the talent is there ... the whol team, needs to execute better
Beasley leads the team in WR snaps. Twill could use some more, but I want to see more of Michael Gallup. The kid has some nice traits and an even better route tree, understanding route concepts than most guys who in this year's draft.

I appreciate your response but I think it’s a given this recieving corp isn’t as talented and was not my intent however you interpreted my meaning.

You are right in that our FO never said they would be better it was fans.

our receivers are getting open. Dak could've had 300 yards had he completed passes to the guys he's staring down while they're open. And this isn't even including whatever plays we could've had if he connected on those incompletes.

The problem is Dak and will continue to be Dak.

I think suggesting after one game they are a bust is kinda stupid. Video showed that guys were open....and open for big plays. If the QB gets on the same page they could be fine.
