Would you welcome Dez back?

We were talking about 2015 and the QBs making Dez suck. Of course the QBs sucked and that hurt Dez's overall production. The point Dez fans can't acknowledge, is that he sucked too. Dez even acknowledges it, but his fans can't.
The entire team sucked mute point

A lot of people in this thread:

It's not about money or production, it's about attitude. Dez validated the problem when he took a flamethrower to Lee, Fredbeard, Linehan, and a few others. If you think that has nothing to do with him being unemployed I'll bet you've never hired anyone in your life. It doesn't even matter if some of what he said was correct.

To bring him back now, after all of that, would be borderline insane from a management standpoint. I'd like to think even the Cowboys aren't that stupid, but then Stephen Jones starts talking.
insane is Jason Garrett being head coach still you are trying very hard to make dez out to be a bad player or teammate. And me you or anyone on this board have the privilege to say that. Only guys in the locker room can and dez said himself Garrett guys wanted him out who are Garrett guys Fred lee and Martin the leaders of the team don’t even have the respect for dez that he deserves I mean come one man. Pfft piss in a bucket And call it sweet tea won’t full a fly on me. Dez is a passionate player that loves the game and hates losing period. Shhhhh

Yeah, certain players get that benefit of the doubt. Let's see if it applies to others.

The entire team sucked, mute point that the QBs sucked.
QB always gets the blame no matter what that’s why if a team loses they don’t replace the entire team they replace the QB js

I don't mind that approach as long as it is consistent, Romo included.

Who is talking about Romo?
I'm just saying, let's blame/give credit to the QBs consistently and I'm fine with that approach, Romo included. Many people want to have special rules for him. If you don't, great.

But what if he was right. Dez with all of his histrionics was never prone to lying. I am sure he has a lot of "friends" still in that locker room and that is where he got his info. As to the coaches, good they needed to be called out.
So you like the idea of players calling out their coaches/coordinators. You think that is a guy idea and a positive thing?

In this case with the decade of reports from people outside the organization such as opposing teams and such saying they guess the play and routes based on formation, I do agree that if whispering it does nothing putting it on blast is another option. Its one thing to call out fallacies but calling out the fact the play calling was unimaginative and lacked creativity, 75% of the people here have been saying that for almost a decade.

So yes you are okay with players publicly criticizing coaches, and you support it so much you want to bring said player back. Dumb

With open arms?

Not only no, but hell no.

Is he working out like he should have when he was with the Cowboys before?

Did he suddenly become a team player like he should have when he was with the Cowboys before?

Did he lose his attitude like he should have when he was with the Cowboys before?

Did he stop being a sideline cancer like he should have when he was with the Cowboys before?

Is he healthy?

There is a reason 31 other teams don't want him folks.

Very true.
Very unfortunate.

Gah....
To get ALL that money.
To be a Dallas Cowboy

Gahhhh..

I'm just sitting here trying to figure out the definition of a "mute" point.

His vocal antics about "Give me the ball", along with the sideline displays are a cancer to any team ... Oh, and he led the League in drops ... there's that.

Dez Bryant; "Just Say No."

A humbled, healthy & motivated Dez. Sign me up!

That and I think he and n Gallup and Cooper will go very well together as a tandem. No longer shall Dez have to be the only receiver we can feasibly use. thus you will not be consistently double comfort as he will have Cooper taking the majority of that. in fact, he would probably do a lot of damage to defences because you cannot double cover three different receivers expect to have a successful defence.
