Again, never said Witten in his prime was better than Witten in 2016. Also never said that Dez was better than T.O. Please read what I said. I just said that Dez's numbers up until Romo got hurt in 2015 would show that he was not merely an average receiver. Dez has more TDs, yards and receptions in a Cowboy uniform than any receiver who played in this millenium. Again, the "Dak is a young QB" excuse can only carry you so far. If he's on any team other than the Cowboys in 2016, he's likely a sub .500 QB. The fact that he had such a highly regarded year have set up expectations that he had no way of meeting. Truth be told, he is a young QB, but he's behind guys like Goff and Wentz when it comes to understanding the position at the NFL level. It should be expected considering where he was drafted and the offense he played in at Miss St. But even Goff who played in an "air raid" two read system is further along than Dak is now.
