Dak wasn't that good last night **merged**

Romo did feel the need to do everything himself in those games when he choked. He grew out of that and became a great QB, but his body was no longer able to take the pounding anymore. Dak has a below average group of WRs and no playmaking TEs. Dak is really hurting the team at this point because he is not able to complete many passes which would cause the defense to stop stacking the box with defenders that are keying in on stopping Zeke. At this point, Dallas needs a great , young QB prospect drafted and they need to obtain a better WR corp. they have a great oline that is still young and they will only get better in the years to come. Without drafting a QB, they are not going to improve very much at all and all the high picks spent on the line will be wasted if they don’t draft the playmakers needed to take advantage of the line that they have built. The only bright spot on the team at this point is the defense. Without some offensive help, the defense will be wasted.

Other then the WR analysis your about as backwards as it gets. We already have a young QB prospect. Its the Oline that is the problem and is falling apart. In case you didn't notice the last 10 games. We are basically down to one pro bowler from 3. And although he may be young in age years, Tryron Smith is looking like a shadow of himself with the back issues.

It was more than obvious that even given the rookie natures of Dak and Zeke they flourished behind the line when it was great. The last 10 games it has been falling apart and so has the play of the rest of the offense.

Unfortunately I don't see the Oline getting fixed much unless Frederick comes back.

You really should stop the bs. You only say that because Romo didn’t play and you can place your own fairytale in the end and say we would’ve won it all with Romo Christ as the quarterback. I call BS

LOL...……...Romo had the exact same situation as Dak. A home game against Aaron Rogers in the playoffs with a 13-3 team and a great run game. He lost for the same reason that Dak did. Because Garrett is a horrid coach.

I second this .^

Garrett has destroyed so many careers, because he keeps getting out coached when & if he makes the playoffs (which is, by the way, twice a decade...more or less).

Yea. You are correct. Except that season 2014 we were 12-4.
These Lames wanna pretend that Zeke would’ve done way more than Demarco and been the deciding factor. Even though Dez actually caught it.
LMAO :lmao2:. The lies they tell to make Romo a God!! This bs is insane.

During the game, we almost don't need him to coach anymore. But he still keeps screwing up the ONLY thing he does now. Clock management type stuff. Game management. Worst I have ever seen.

Ah yes, 12-4.

Murray rushed for 1800 yards that year. IT was ridiculous. Then of course Garrett the moron let him walk and thought the run game would be the same with "the criminal" leading the run game. What was that guys name again? He is in jail now.

LMAO. Joseph Randle

Absolutely ... & although i have no proof, i believe Garrett is very deficient in :

1. Post Game Analysis
2. Game Planning - Correct Adjustment for each opposing Team .
3. Practicing Plays, Routes, Readings, etc... so that players know exactly what to do during each game ...
4. Offensive Playbook (some just call it Atrocious)

You mean Stephen and Jerry let him walk.
They pinched pennies on the bellcow who had a huge part of that 12-4 offense but gave 9mil a year for potential in Crawford .

Garrett, Witten, Romo and Murray were all close.

Wasn't it Jerry who said any RB could have success behind this line?

Then they spend the 4th overall the following year on a RB.

hahahaha!!! Joseph Randal. LOL

That ONE horrid coaching decision ruined that season.

Yeah. Coaches decided on Randle.

Garrett was HANGING OUT with Murray that off-season. He and Romo are freaking going to events with Murray. They wanted Murray back very badly - we've never seen that sort of lobbying since.

Please get facts straight.

as long as the outcome was a win, how he played doesn't matter unless you are discussing how he can improve and on what part he needs to improve.

In the NFL you don't have 3 All-Pros on the same line. It is a unicorn in today's NFL. So. yeah. If you've got the best LT, RG and C and some solid starters, you are going to win some games. In fact, you BETTER win some games. .Most starting QBs play without such talent (let alone any talent) on the line, so this notion that Dak and Zeke have to have their butts wiped with talcum poweder by 3 All-Pros is ridiculous. That explains much of Dak's success in 2016.

Dak's problems are of his own making. He's a young QB who had everything made "friendly" for him instead of being allowed to develop. Now, in Year 3, he's behind many of the QBs that people were gleefully chuckling at other teams fro drafting ahead of Dak. Now Linehan devises a scheme that should suit Dak and he can't execute it. Now we are back to the RPO stuff, because that is our only hope at winning some games and have to hope our defense holds up.. But that is a band aid fix and is not sustainable. Any offense that is predicated on the other team failing to keep their assignments is not a recipe for championships. Dak simply needs to figure this out.before next season or else his days are numbered here.

Dal is going backwards? LOL

Now there is an educated theory.

I guess Zeke is going backwards too eh?
Who is the thread about? If you want to do a Zeke thread or any other player do it but as long as this thread is about Dak that's who we are talking about. Some of y'all acting like y'all on the Prescott payroll smdh

The only way for this to happen is for Dak to suck badly. I'd rather just seem him succeed and save the pick for an upgrade at WR or TE.
Dak is sucking since his rookie season. That rookie season was totally an accident. The way he has played since his rookie season is the very same as he played in college. With the exception of his rookie season, he has had the same faults in high school, college and the pros. At this point in his career, he is not going to totally change how he plays QB. He is what he is, and that’s not good.

Time will tell and my money is on the Cowboys looking for another QB in the near future.

Prescott payroll? Because we choose to support our young quarterback? I’m convinced. You’re an idiot

And got Romo crushed because the backs we had, besides McFadden couldn’t pick up blitzes. And McFadden was only decent in pass protection.
Romo got crushed against Philly in week 2 and hurt because this team loves to go shotgun empty backfield up 13 in field goal position and Philly blitzed.

McFadden let his man go against Carolina to end that miserable game.

You are absolutely correct
