Romo did feel the need to do everything himself in those games when he choked. He grew out of that and became a great QB, but his body was no longer able to take the pounding anymore. Dak has a below average group of WRs and no playmaking TEs. Dak is really hurting the team at this point because he is not able to complete many passes which would cause the defense to stop stacking the box with defenders that are keying in on stopping Zeke. At this point, Dallas needs a great , young QB prospect drafted and they need to obtain a better WR corp. they have a great oline that is still young and they will only get better in the years to come. Without drafting a QB, they are not going to improve very much at all and all the high picks spent on the line will be wasted if they don’t draft the playmakers needed to take advantage of the line that they have built. The only bright spot on the team at this point is the defense. Without some offensive help, the defense will be wasted.
Other then the WR analysis your about as backwards as it gets. We already have a young QB prospect. Its the Oline that is the problem and is falling apart. In case you didn't notice the last 10 games. We are basically down to one pro bowler from 3. And although he may be young in age years, Tryron Smith is looking like a shadow of himself with the back issues.
It was more than obvious that even given the rookie natures of Dak and Zeke they flourished behind the line when it was great. The last 10 games it has been falling apart and so has the play of the rest of the offense.
Unfortunately I don't see the Oline getting fixed much unless Frederick comes back.
