Why would ET participate in this game? He's a Seahawk only until this game is in the books, then the agreed trade will commensurate and ET can fly back home with his new team. Anyway, that's how I see it playing out. Cheers!

Vegas now has us as an underdog by 1 point, whereas we started out at three. This means on a neutral field, we'd be up by 2. I like it. Those are really slim odds that can easily be beaten with good execution. Don't be shocked if the betting line becomes a tossup at game time. We're in it, folks! ;)

Let's see... Carroll is being vague about Thomas and saying he's not hurt but won't play. Thomas is still unhappy about his contract and that the Seahawks didn't trade him for the 2nd rd pick Jerry offered.

Prediction: ET comes home. (Maybe on the team charter coming back. Well, maybe not that soon)

Everyone keeps saying Seattle will get a 3rd comp pick for Thomas when he leaves. This is just not the truth. They may get a 3rd BUT they also might get NOTHING depending what they do in FA. This is a risk he may end up walking at end of year and they could get nothing in return

Also have to realize that third is at the end of the round, and it is ANOTHER year later.

Seattle will trade him before the trade deadline to us..and not for a 2nd or 3rd. The asking price keeps dropping btw...they know this. I think they are holding ET out actually to protect there trade piece. I don't think its all ET doing this.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Pete Carroll is just playing it coy, knowing full well that Earl Thomas will be playing. He seems to be somewhat disenchanted with the Cowboys and his talks with the FO that didn't award him with what he wanted. It's a curious circumstance in any case. Of course, he could also be planning a trade and holding him out for that reason. We'll see.

If Earl plays Sunday most theories will be thrown out the window. If he doesnt play it will drag on another day and there will be 10,000 more posts on the subject with a dozen more speculations. Monday everybody will be checking their phones and their tweets in anticipation of a Trade. Monday night If it does happen this board will blow up if it doesnt happen maybe it will rest until off season.
