Would you trade for Derek Carr

Out of curiosity, why do you think he would flourish here?

Less talent than Oakland and worse coaching IMO.

I would trade a 3 for him though.

I think he would flourish here, especially with some investments at receiver.

So essentially what you are saying is get better receivers and a QB.
It's this kind of football knowledge the NFL world knows nothing about because it is hidden from view here on this site. :lmao2:

Depends on what we're trading.

His contract is ridiculous, it would have to be a really inticing offer...

I've seen what he can do and I think that with a defense an offensive line, running back, and some more help at receiver, he would do well.

Imagine if we had Josh Gordon here. Would have been a great duo. Reminds me of all the other short-sighted mistakes this team has made and I'm not even saying Gordon is a lock to return to form, just worth the price.

It's a head scratcher what happened to him.

16 MVP candidate.
Slump in 17 and this year is more of the same.
Not like in 2015 he was terrible.

I know one of his picks last week was from Cooper stopping on his route and the second one was a great play by Howard(again).
The first pick was thrown in triple coverage however.

This current system and this current coaching staff has the ability to ruin almost any QB. Including Carr.

You have to throw out the HC, the OC and this archaic, fossilized system before you start bringing in players.

He's a better fit for this offense than Dak...

Of course but this would never happen. Gruden likes Carr and our front office is not capable of pulling a trade like this off.

Okay what do the Raiders do at QB?

Dig JaMarcus Russell out of the heap.

It's kinda like the HC argument...who would work for Jerry?

What kinda of QB would want JG as his coach?

I would give them Dak straight up or Dak and a 4th or 5th.

My guess is that Gruden may move on from Carr after this year anyway. I'd be surprised if they aren't at least considering moving him.

Lol.

Galian, I'll give you credit: you are creative. Your imagination is on hyper drive on this one.

We have the cap space to take on his contract. If he doesn't work out here after a year or two, you can cut him with nothing lost.

They get Dak and Gruden can work with him for another year and see if he works while they build that team.

It's a win win. Dak might do much better in a west coast offense.

There is no way Gruden would trade Derek Carr for Dak Prescott. Not gonna happen.

He's already in hot water for trading the best player on the team. And now he's going to trade the second best player? For a QB who is seeing ghosts whenever he goes back to pass?

Garrett and Linehan would ruin Carr just like they have ruined Dak.
