Let's talk about the Rams.

2016 under Jeff Fisher:

Jared Goff: 1,089 passing yards in seven games. 5 TDs, 7 INTs - 0-7 as a starter.

Todd Gurley: 278 carries for 886 yards (3.2 avg!), 6 TD's

Rams were LAST in total offense. LAST in points per game.

Fast forward two years -- Goff leads the NFL in passing, Gurley leads the NFL in rushing. Three Rams receivers are in the top 10 in receiving in the NFL.

Rams are now FIRST in total offense, SECOND in points per game.

In 2016, Goff looked like a washout and Dak looked like a No. 1 overall pick. In two years, the tables have completely turned.

What's the difference here?

Sean McVay.

Coaching matters, folks. It matters a whole friggen lot. It's everything in today's NFL. It's easy to look at the Rams offense and say "man, they're so much better than us" but the fact is, many of the players leading the way for the Rams now, looked just as putrid as Dak and these guys look right now until a real coach, who knows what he's doing, came in and put them in a position to succeed.

When will that happen in Dallas?

on a different note: we are upset we let Sean Payton go. Poor 'Skins, to imagine what they are thinking.

McVay and Pederson in the same division and playing them twice a year would have probably been enough to get me to finally give up on the Cowboys.

Nope. Coaching has no relevance. Coaching doesnt matter at all. I have heard it here countless times by everyone who wants to blame Dak for everything

Good went 1 oberall. Dak was a 4th rounder. Their talent levels are in different tiers.

I think JJ has to make a very hard decision this off season or maybe sooner than that. He has to decide to either go with what he has or make a change that will effect this team. He needs to decide do we go and draft a Round 1 QB and start this again with what we have or do we go with Dak and see if he can change this situation. U can't commit 4 or 5 more years to him if he can throw the ball ...its as simple as that. I don't like Drafting a QB in Round 1, but if the circumstances dictate that than you have to swallow ur pride and go ahead and pick the highest rated QB on the Board. I hope they don't think somebody else can fix Dak because if we can't....this become a long 4-5 year process....u either get a top 5 pick or u stay mediocre for many years looking for a franchisee QB.

JJ is a joke bro. I enjoy watching the Rams this year, at least the owner, GM and HC get it.

The sad thing is, it wouldn’t shock me if Jeff Fisher is our next coach.

The man sounds like such a fool when he makes these analogies. It used to be the 2007 Giants he thought his team resembled..

if they don't have injuries that really hurt the team the ram are favs to go to the superbowl one thing because they have a very good team and really good head coach and the nfl wants them to win because la Is a big market and they billions invested there and the nfl is a money league
