Well, that last real HC bolted once he set up a winning team and I thought he reason for leaving was idiotic as well. Just felt like a quitters move.

But it's whatever and so long ago at this point I don't even dwell on it. I was still a little puppy in high school having my first real relationship when this was going down. Feels like a lifetime ago.

Another Saturday of flipping around the college games and seeing efficient offenses, QBs that can throw accurately, well designed plays, and well called drives. All while tomorrow looms knowing Dallas has or does none of that. At least my son has two games tomorrow and the game isn’t on TV here which is fine with me.

Can you blame him, or anybody else, for feeling like that? How long is this "process" supposed to take? By Eagles standards, 2 years. Jimmy Johnson rebuilt the entire team and had 2 SBs in less time than Garretts "process", actually 3. Should we revisit this at year 16 of the "process" ?

Agreed. It's also problematic that jerry the GM is like a supreme court judge in that he has a lifetime appointment. In Jerry's case, he is accountable to no one and that's the crack in the foundation that we build on every year. A football fool with hope as his only strategy surrounded by yes men and revisionist historians who tell Jerry that he was the architect of the dynasty teams Jimmy built is a formula for failure. The past 22 seasons are a testament to Jerry's foot acumen.
