What a ******. Are they not supposed to be happy about winning a game?
You know that's a Skip Bayless parody account, right?

If he bought a 5 star restaurant he would make himself the Head Chef. As business plummeted he would claim that his restaurant was just as good as that "other" 5 star restaurant. You are correct, He wants to win BUT only if he gets 100% of the credit for it. Jerry the GM is horrible, Jason the HC is terrible and a yes man, the team is basically mediocre year in and year out yet Jerry spews his SB talk and crazy comparisons. Jerry wants to win, but as we all see his way doesn't work so he gets all the credit for the failure teams he has fielded the 20 odd years. If Jerry really wants to win he will step back and hire a GM and let the GM hire a a good HC and supporting staff. Jerry's ego is so large he has to feed it daily, he really is a pathetic figure.
Now that is an excellent parallel!!!!If he bought a 5 star restaurant he would make himself the Head Chef. As business plummeted he would claim that his restaurant was just as good as that "other" 5 star restaurant.
He wants to win, but he wants to be the face of franchise.
Jerry Jones in his "football life" interview, said he'd cash in and pay everything he owns for another SB. No doubt he wants to win. Wants to and knows how are not the same though. I do believe he wants to win as much or more than any of us fans do.
Insisted on being the GM of a team even though he was both unqualified and incapable that led to mostly mediocrity for over 20 years. Yup, must be jealousy!!!!!!!!!Self-made billionaire, 3-time Super Bowl champion, Pro Football Hall of Famer, turned America's Team into the most valuable sports franchise in the world, captain of NCAA championship team...
Yep, I can see why Jerry gets SO much hate. Pure jealousy.

Weird take.
Cheerleaders and fans want to win too. The difference is that neither cheerleaders or fans get in the way of wins. If Jerry truly wanted to win like many of you claim, he would get out of the way and hire the best football GM and coaches money could buy. Anything else is an excuse. Wanting to win more than anything means sacrifice.
If he wanted to win he'd fire himself and JG.
If you don't care for the subject matter or aren't willing to comment based on what the OP said, why post in this thread at all? The OP didn't suggest Jerry was willing to step down as GM or that he was willing to make a dramatic move today regarding the staff and/or personnel to change the fortunes of the team, he was merely showing that Jerry has his emotions as well as his money invested in the success of the team. The video was a very effective illustration of that.
A lot of billionaire owners I would chose over Jerry and don't get me started on the most valuable sports franchise in the world crap.Self-made billionaire, 3-time Super Bowl champion, Pro Football Hall of Famer, turned America's Team into the most valuable sports franchise in the world, captain of NCAA championship team...

he is often accused of having too much hubris. yet he still uses a flip phone.
I have not read the whole thread but this take is pretty close. True, he does want to win his way. The one thing that few outsiders accept or even wish to conceive is even remotely true is that Jones believes he is the only person in the entire world best qualified as the general manager of his team. 29 straight years establishes solid proof of his belief. But, he only wants to win HIS WAY.
If he REALLY wanted to win, he'd shell out some of his precious $$$ and hire the BEST GM in the league and let him hire HIS coach and make HIS personnel decisions.
In that instance, Jerry would likely win a ton of games and perhaps, gulp, even a championship.
But, as we all know, he will never do it.
So yeah, he wants to win, but not do everything it takes to win.
What's wrong with a flip phone?he is often accused of having too much hubris. yet he still uses a flip phone.
Those other "billionaire owners" have NOTHING on Jerry's resume that I laid out here.A lot of billionaire owners I would chose over Jerry and don't get me started on the most valuable sports franchise in the world crap.
