I was at last weeks game against Detroit .. did a tour of the Frisco star on Saturday and as we were looking at the jersey changes over the year the tour guide told a story about Dez Bryant wearing a jersey two sizes smaller so it was tight to him and she quipped we are keeping his jersey warm for when he returns .. she told us all she feels a reunion is sooner rather than later ..
me .... no thank you .. I will pass

If he was just brought back as gadget type player... like we play him in certain packages, I would be ok with it. Not to be one of our main starters though. Also, his price would have to be right. I love the fire that he brings, as long as his role is different it would be ok.

Romo, Dez, and Witten aren't walking through that door.

Gonna have to figure it out with Dak, Hurns, and Swaim.

Yikes.

Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant has been without a team after being unceremoniously released by the Dallas Cowboys a week before the 2018 NFL draft. Since, he turned down at least one long-term offer to join the Baltimore Ravens and has been connected to other teams to no avail. Now, as he seems to be truly ready to rejoin the NFL, Bryant launched a bombshell on Twitter, stating he would prefer to rejoin the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys have not been great in the wide receiver department through the team’s first four games. Cole Beasley is the team’s leading receiver with 16 catches for 185 yards. Tavon Austin leads the club with two receiving touchdowns but just 81 yards. The club continues to struggle in the red zone

And he'd still be the best WR on the roster.

No, for those reasons he wouldn't be. If you want to say he would be the best jump ball WR, then fine. But in every other way he is not. I would take Beasley all day every day over a guy that can run 3 lazy routes total and cries for the ball and destroys chemistry.

Maybe... I don't agree.

He would automatically be our best WR drops or no drops.

Well he rode outta town like:

He needed to pull his big boy britches up and be a professional. He might've gotten a call...but he acted like an infantile idiot. Pretty sure the Cowboys feel better off even with some of the struggles they are having. Besides, it's not over yet. Things are liable to get going with the WR's as they play more together. We'll see...
