I felt like starting Severino was taking an unnecessary risk in a 1-game playoff, but he stepped up and pitched very well. The gamble paid off. Now the Yankees are in a position to start their most consistent pitcher vs Boston - a team he has played well against. Betances was really strong. Judge is a monster. I love that guy. Go Yankees!!!

I had quit watching baseball for about a decade and this year I bought the MLB Extra Innings package and forced myself to watch it this year. I'd have my laptop up watching the games on MLBtv.com while watching TV with my wife. She'd get pissed off when I would yell "All Rise" and "Yankees win, the Yankees win" during the shows.

Even tho they lost last night, props where it's due -- Aaron Judge is a damned monster. I thought he was gonna flame out, especially after his large slump last season (2017) after the all-star break, but he is something else. He is so fun to watch.
