I loved Roberts last WS. Dude helped us win it.

Overuse of any reliever will result in giving it up. Not only do the batters get used to what that pitcher is bringing, but overuse will often result in a little less bite on the curve and slider and less movement on the fastball.

There’s overuse and then there is.

Serving up homeruns EVERY GAME you pitch.


Roberts had two games won.hs starters were cruisers easy.
Let the finish a complete game. He was given a do over to MOT make same mistake the next day and he blew it.

The season is over. Why take them out.

He would be down 3-2 instead of losing 4-1.

Anyway. LA is horrible. Puig, Machado = useless.
