Like many here, I won't root for my team to lose but I'm no longer seriously invested in this team. Not with this coaching staff. Every loss will just bring me closer to the hope that we can get a new coaching staff.

Winning will just be a Sunday bonus for me.
We see behind those lying eyes, every Sunday you will invest just like all of us. Eyes wide shut for this beautiful blue and silver team from Texas baby!!

Or maybe and possibly continue to lose in the future.

No thanks.
We recently had a “high” draft class, coming off a 4-12 season in 2015.

Many here were calling the 2016 draft class possibly our “greatest ever.”

How ya liking that draft class now? Is finishing bad in 2015 currently helping us in 2018 — which, 3yrs ago, represented “the future”?

drafts have been very good, which is scary how depleted the team was

I would never root to tank a season.

But I also am not stupid enough to not understand that if we did "tank" it might actually be good long term for the franchise.

While the odds are against us for the playoffs right now, we are probably a few weeks away from having the discussion of whether it would be better to start losing a crap ton of games yet.

Aw,Hell! Yer' post has got me entirely confused NOW! @Sydla !

So if the drafts/talent are good, why are we back to being our customary “Garrett .500” selves?

Could it be the coaching? Or maybe our drafting and other personnel moves aren’t as good as we thought?

.Tank!

This team needs a massive overhaul on offense. We need a real starting QB, (not just a good backup pretending to be a starter) a new head coach and someone who can catch the ball on a consistent basis.

The running game and O-line are solid but we have nothing after that. Nobody respects our passing game. We need a top QB and a #1 WR.

Or we can just go 7-9, miss the playoffs and continue the Super Bowl drought since 1995.

You may want to be a loser but I don't think the players do.
I'm not on the team, so I'm not trying to be anything here.

I should clarify that by "tank" I don't mean that they should actively try to lose or that I'm rooting for them to lose. But if the team is going to be bad, yeah, I'd rather they be BAD, and net us a good draft position. Especially for an offseason where we're likely to need a QB.

Fournette out next week....The Clapping Carrot catches yet another break....unbelievable. Wouldn't be shocked if we win next week and all is well in Jerry's brain.

If the season's record means anything, we should win against JAX.....especially when Bortles is giving up INTs.

I vote no on the tanking proposition.

Tanking is no guarantee the FO won't screw something up
or have the HC ruin yet another prospect.

I've heard this sentiment before... (sometimes replace INTs with sacks)

You can’t have it both ways. You either want them to win or want them to lose. You’re just playing games with your own conscious trying to justify quitting.

i dont think i have ever seen this level of agreement to tank (or let garrett screw up) the rest of the season.

i think most of us, including moi, r finally in agreement that dak is not the answer and need the high draft pick for the qb...
I wanted to tank back even when Romo was QB. YOU CAN'T WIN WITH A 4TH ROUND OR AN UNDRAFTED QB. You could get lucky, but we don't have that type of fire power in our front office to hit on those type of guys. The only way we will ever win is to TANK COMPLETELY, and draft a QB #1 in the draft. Then we have to FIRE JASON GARRETT and this entire staff. Get an innovative type coach, and allow him to hire his entire team. That is our ONLY HOPE!!!!

What criteria did you use in quantifying 'most of us'? Not saying you are wrong. The site receives thousands of guests daily who do not log in. Hundreds of registered members do log in but do not post comments. At most, several dozen members post comments on any given topic each day...
I am for tanking, that way maybe I'll feel compelled to watch again. I've been out since the end of the Seattle game. I dont like the team or the organization right now and have better use of my time than to watch the same patheticness
