Romo had a 2.7% career Interception rate. Equal to Peyton Manning, Ben Roeth, and Joe Montana. Lower than Troy Aikman who had a 3.0% and Roger Staubach who had a 3.7%, and Danny White who had a 4.5%

Romo was excellent at taking care of the football. Perception is not reality.
Ignoring Dak's rookie year which was a pretty big anomaly statistically, Dak had a 2.7% interception rate last year and has a 2.8% interception rate so far this year.

I didn't read it all so excuse me if I am reiterating but its like I have been saying Dak is not mature enough to elevate the team past others mistakes . Again like a broken record we need to stay ahead of the chains .
Handing up the middle to Zeke and getting 1 yrd or no gain sets Dak up for failure . The Oline has to win on first down and get at least 3 yrds . Our receivers are bad and whats worse have really little or no time playing with Dak . How bad must your WRs be when you let your best one go and he is still unemployed ??? Beyond that if anyone couldn't see he HUGE disparity in Talent between Hopkins and anyone we have on the roster I just don't know what to say .

Dak is not the most accurate QB granted but it sure dosent inspire you to throw into tight windows and watch your WRs tip it to the other team while watching Hopkins make fingertip catches on the Jumbotron . It would make anyone a little gunshy after having that happen like 4 times this year .

The Oline has to get Zeke 3or 4 yrds on 1st down and all will look better till then we are going to struggle . Geez the TEs look better than the WRs at this point and that was supposed to be the real weak link .

The problem with his 4th quarter comebacks is that most were against teams you aren’t going to face in the playoffs. It mostly occured against teams we shouldn’t have had to come back on.
Most games are against teams that aren't in the playoffs. Saying most comebacks occurred against teams you shouldn't have had to come back against is also kind of silly.

Regardless, the only point I was making there is that he was trying to paint a picture of Romo being bad on game ending drives when the amount of comebacks Romo led showed the opposite was true.

Romo had a 5.7% TD rate. Higher than Tom Brady and Drew Brees and equal to Peyton Manning.

Dak is at 4.6% and never has thrown for more than 23 TD's in a full season.

Anyways, before this goes down to a Dak vs Romo battle...the point I was making was that you were incorrect in your statement that Romo "didn't take care of the ball."

I was agreeing with you about the other guy's implied statement that Dak takes better care of the ball than Romo.

Dak doesn’t suck...but he’s also not in the small % of QB’s that are franchise QB’s who have a good chance at winning a SB.

I’d rather chase that franchise QB and have hope for a super bowl than stick with Dak
LOL dallas isnt going to a SB , if we had got goff, it would maybe be a little better, but still no SB.

The problems start with the jones boys , and work their way down.
I could take Dak and make him a winning qb.
Just with better HC and staff, this team could be 4-1 right now.

I can't do it anymore...i can't come on this board and see all of this lazy and useless analysis.

Every pass that isn't perfect is hyper anayzed and overly critiqued to being Dak's fault. Ooooohhhhhh....that ball to Austin requires him to raise his and and jump....and? Did you watch the Texans catching balls all over the place? Did you watch any other nfl games where guys are catching balls all over the place?

Newsflash....we have NO weapons. Who is our guy we are going to with any consistency on 3rd and 7? Who is beating coverage? Nobe of them do it. Not even Beasely.

A few points to ponder:
* we are a running team with a ton invested in the OL and RB. We were ineffective in the run game.
*Both interceptions hit the wrs in the hands.

*Dak Bashers....at this point in Romo's career...he was still carrying a clip board and didn't start his first game until a few more weeks.

It is a travesty how we have given this young qb nothing to work with. I fear we are ruining him with the crapshow we have surrounded him with.
THANK YOU AND AMEN!!! FINALLY, SOMEONE WITH EYES TO SEE WITH. Dak is playing with practice squad hot garbage at wr. The routes last night were GAWD awful, then the ones that were good, they couldn't catch the ball. Like the Tavon tipped pass. That dude has to catch that...its the NFL. those CATCHES must be routine.

A lot of the time the WR looks like he didn't get open because the ball came out late. When the ball gets there the defender is there to make the play. Its the NFL, windows are small, the ball needs to come out faster.

Dak needs to see the receiver open. He does not throw guys open. Dak also lacks arm talent.

If we cannot dominate in the run game that is what our offense will look like. Awful.

Dak needs a #1 WR like below who will make the defense pay if they gang up against the run, blitz, or make a mistake in the secondary.

KEN,MAYBE WE ARE OLD SCHOOL, BUT MY coach taught me at the high school level that if the ball hits your hands, its your responsibility to haul it in, no excuses. No reason why a pro caliber player shouldn't be able to routinely catch those. People are acting as if that pass was severely overthrown. Its funny. All night we witnessed Watson making inaccurate throws and his guys routinely catching them. That's fact. Diffrence was,our wr group couldn't execute.

Get Dak some weapons so he does not have to solely rely on accurate, soft passes for the #3-#5 WRs on team can hope to make a positive play.

How about a #1 WR who can get wide open even when double-covered?

Well people have to blame someone, and Dak is the one.
He does have some issues, which could be corrected with better teaching , but JG and his staff obviously cant teach .
The Defense is playing fairly good, due to Kris being the new DC although he is called the passing game coordinator lol.

We are a run team, but they cant seem to do that very well consistently.

S.Jones doesnt want dak running, so no rpo with him running which was a good weapon was taken away.

I am going into each game expecting them to lose, if they do , I am not upset, if they win thats ok too.
it is a sad time for cowboy fans. The jones boys dont have a clue how to make a winning team,, so better lower your expectations.

*Dak Bashers....at this point in Romo's career...he was still carrying a clip board and didn't start his first game until a few more weeks.

So what? A) he replaced Romo who in his last healthy season was an All Pro. That's his comparison. Not the ghost of Romo past. And Romo was an undrafted free agent out of a small school. Dak was drafted out of the SEC. He SHOULD have progressed faster.

This is a joke. For most of his career Dak has had all pros all over his offensive line...one of the best RBs in the league and a Dez and Witten. Dak has had one of the best situations for a young QB ever on aggregate. Lol @ travesty.
