When he was initially reported as "cut" I was shocked. Then it came out it was an injured designation, which normally means he would then revert to the Giants IR if he cleared waivers. He obviously cleared waivers as he wasn't on an active roster. How did he end up on Cards PS instead of Giants IR?

Because he and the Giants agreed to an injury settlement.

A chance. 3rd rounder from 2016. I think he actually played better than what we have during his year of starting in NY. Was cut for injury. Definitely an upgrade to the guy we cut for him.

I like this signing a lot. Cheap, has experience, young and can play Free safety. Not a strong safety being forced to play SS
