I was helping my neighbor because scumbags kept stealing packages that got left at his doorstep. I helped him to find the right security camera to order. So he orders it, it gets delivered, and the thieves stole it from his doorstep!!!!

I forgot to him him ask UPS to require a signature. ggggrrrrrrrr!

He can also have deliveries made to another location, if they're watching his doorstep. I used to have them made to my office. And depending on where he lives, there are drop points available just because of that problem.

My real awakening to just how low these scumbags can be was the first time I heard the term "Funeral House Sitter" because they scan the obits and rob homes when the family is away at the service.

I would never burglarize anyone, much less someone at a funeral, but if I did I would just make it official and change my name to something appropriate.

The only theft I tolerate is if someone is taking a loaf of bread to feed their family, I stole that line by a former boss. The rest of the thieves just want free stuff the easy way. I've never been the victim of package theft, maybe I've been lucky.

Ha,,,it was pretty funny as while reviewing the black&white recording they'd apparently approach from the rear with one on the others shoulders ,as the cameras would one by one start rocking up & down till they were torn out of the mounting surfaces (over head soffet box or roof eaves)
