Need to trade for a WR with this injury to Austin, offense was ugly with him!

I'm now convinced that if the boys had let Romo come back from his injury and play the rest of the way after Dak holding the fort down , the boys would have gone to the SB that year. But the boys will win this one . The team has been playing better , best of all I think is the offensive line .

They're bound to win on the road sometime. This game is as good as any to do that. I'm 3 - 3 picking their games this year. Shows what i know.

If last week's version of Dak shows up, we will win easily. If the Houston version shows up we're not screwed because the D will keep us alive but it will come down to the wire and could go either way.

a few thoughts:

  1. Washington is better in every statistical defensive category (I think, or most of them) I expect them to come after Dak early
  2. they have tanks in the middle and will be very tough to run on, Zach Brown is a good lb (I was hoping Dallas could replace Hitchens with him) and is good at pursuing to the edge which brings me to #3
  3. I expect the opposite of what the Jags tried to do, expect more of Houston's gameplan which will limit Dak running and Beasley having a free option to the middle (that will cut him off much like Jacksonville did after halftime)
  4. their qb is better than the ones Dallas has won against so far as an accurate efficient passer and a legit run threat
  5. they have elite talent at TE with Reed, he's a great athlete and I wouldn't try to cover him in man -Vander Esch needs experience to learn all the little details of coverage. tightends have gotten separation at the top of their routes by leaning into him and pushing off (that could be a lack of upper body strength though), I'd play lots of zone but that means #6
  6. Dallas has to get constant pressure on Alex Smith without letting AD loose. the problem with that is DLaw is hurt and Taco & Randy haven't picked up his slack. they have to have a very good game if Cowboys defense is going to hold up
  7. some players are inspired to play harder in certain situations and I believe AD has that against Dallas. tryhard

I would think to win Dallas has to keep it close like vs the Texans and win any turnover battle

Dak is 4-0 against Washington and has played exceptionally well against them.

Until they beat this version of the Cowboys, they shouldn’t be picked to do so IMO. We match up well against them.

Kind of how I feel. But I do think the Cowboys will win this game. They need to get the can’t win on the road monkey off their back, they have an off week following and we always play well against them. The HotBoyz will dominate!
