Yeah my problem isn't that the players don't want to come out and win. My problem is the lack of faith in the coaching staff to come up with a game-plan that surprises a team the next week. They'll either roll something out like they did in Houston (thinking it will surprise them) or keep trying to do what they did last week because "it worked". Seeing something new that blows the Washington defense away will be shocking....to me at least. LOL

True...
This team barely plays Checkers while there are other teams playing Go.

Wonderful game too... Go. It's a true duel.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott said his up and down team must carry momentum from last Sunday's 40-7 victory against the Jaguars to Washington this weekend. He said if they don't, the win meant nothing.

I think the board will go off on Garrett and Linehan for good if they pull a loss and revert to their every other game strategy and maintain the usual .500 record/. I don't care how much JG smiles he's on the hot seat. I'd better see the beginning of a winning streak of more than 1 game in a row. Zeke is totally correct.

Now imagine if the Cowboys lose how it will send a depressed vibe through the locker room and a possible three or four game losing streak to follow. I said before the Jags game the Cowboys would win and lose the next 5, i was only kidding at the time, but it seems that could actually happen now.
Ya well ,me& the #21 both know yer' "sight beyond sight" sucks week old hatched turtle egg shells ,Too!,,,pal,, up on some muddy sand bar enemy river of unworthy waters,,, er,,,ya know?o_O

In divisional games it’s critical to protect home field. If you lose at home first it then sets you up to be swept.

I’d still be more concerned keeping pace with Eagles.
It's the next team up mentality. In the NFL, that's their focus.

I understand but I don’t agree with the premise that we lose Sunday last weeks win doesn’t mean anything.

I think that’s mere hype for headlines and surely not meant to be taken literally.

Zeke knows wsup. Doesn’t mean anything if it’s another mediocre season. The only way to silence critics is consistency. Whether it’s the offense we saw last week or not, another loss only means more questions for the team especially QB and coaching.

Elliott is right. If the up and down roller coaster brings us a loss after a big win, how significant was the win?

I get what Elliott is saying. We need to build momentum. But to say last weeks win isn’t meaningful unless we win this week is hyperbole.

We don’t know yet except 2-4 lessens our chances more than 3-4.
Conference and division games are what matter the most. If we don't carry the momentum than the Jags game doesn't mean a whole lot. Pretty simple.

It might appear that way now but we don’t know how the rest of season will unfold yet.

We might look back and say it was a turning point. Might not.

I’d say Jaguar win might not mean as much if we lose Sunday but not “ nothing”.

But that doesn’t make as big of headline.

Zeke is smarter than some of our fans who will know doubt have excuses and downplay the game if we happen to lose on Sunday.
They live in the moment. Some of us don't forget the last 23 years or the last 8 of Garrett.
