We can all agree that most of the penalties called on us are legit.

However, our opponents are not being reffed with the same scrutiny as we are. Our D cannot buy an offensive holding call, as well as an illegal pick call.

Then, the refs seem to find the most gut wrenching times to call weak or nonexistent penalties on us.

I just want equality in the calls.

Btw, the LPL call was pure trash. He did what he has done his whole career and what other LS do. The game should have gone to OT.

This is not new. I agree, but it is what it is. We have been victims of this for years. Weird penalty after weird penalty. I was on hand and wondered where the replays on the FedEx scoreboard on the play prior to the Dak fumble TD play. Another phantom holding penalty putting us behind the eightball on every 3rd down.

Tyron mugged the guy in the 1st Q on the Dak scramble, which gave this crew all the impetus it needed to throw every flag it wanted from that point forward.

Washington's first TD should have been called back for a clip and I saw numerous holding penalties on the Crapskin's offensive line that were completely ignored.......................And how about that offsides call on Tank when the right tackle moved ?

But that final penalty was completely off-the-wall ; I've seen numerous long-snappers play with the ball prior to snapping it and Washington went across the line of scrimmage almost 3 full seconds after LP put both hands on the ball.................Unbelievable..................

I commend the Skins coaching staff for the call on LPL. If they don't commit to being drawn offsides, it never gets called. A good strategy to risk a 5 yard penalty in that situation, hoping to make the kick more difficult and it worked. LPL has probably been bouncing the ball pre snap (illegal) quite frequently and the Commanders picked it up on tape.

The holding call on Connor Williams was definitely a holding. Williams tackled his guy. It does seem like we get penalties called on us at the most inopportune times though. Can it really be coincidental over the years?

We didn't lose because of penalties...

Or, it was just dumb luck. At least one defensive player thought the call would be on them.

That's a really good point, didn't think about that.

How are you certain that came from the coaches? Did someone say this?

It wouldn't surprise me. What drew him offsides? We saw the ball get bounced on replay. That is a penalty. It doesn't ever get called because no one ever moves on it, until toady.
