He's worth more than a 5th, a lot more. And $10M for Snacks is a steal.

Why would snacks not help their next QB?

But this isnt abour snacks, I've been saying this since the offseason as I said in the exact comment you quoted.

1. They picked a RB over QB in a strong class
2. Gave up draft capital for Ogletree who is garbage
3. Signed ancient Johnathan Stewart for a much larger contract than he should have demanded
4. Signed Solder to the largest Oline contract, despite him being a slightly above average LT
5. They were debating not extending OBJ at the time which would have been really dumb
I live in Jersey I told all the giants fans Solder isn't that good and you can't really gauge NE o lineman cuz of the system and QB. They didn't believe me.

Not disagreeing with your point.

But Drew Lock is not Darnold, Mayfield etc. So they win best RB and QB back to back ... yet still likely don’t have an elite franchise Qb
I hear ya just making a point about getting a top QB after missing this year.

Agreed.

They have what? Collins, Vernon and Jenkins left? Wouldn’t be shocked to see Jenkins or Vernon gone before the deadline
Jenkins sucks, but I don't think they'd have much difficulty moving Vernon.

C’mon. He’ll be the projected #1 pick in a QB starved league. If the Giants have designs on him they’ll be letting his camp know now that they’re manoeuvring for the #1 pick.

You don’t risk another year of college if you’re the projected #1 pick.

Now Harrison is a player the Cowboys could use inside yet no interest evidently...a fifth round pick is a steal!!

Teams almost never trade good players to division rivals, so even if the Cowboys had an interest the Giants would try to find almost any other team to trade with.

I dont know how many times I heard from Giants fans and fantasy football fans "with Will and Solder our Oline will at least be average"

That was such ******* stupidity. If you have the worst Oline in football, you add a rookie and an above average LT, while downgrading at center, YOU ARENT GUARANTEED TO BE AT LEAST AVERAGE, AVERAGE WOULD BE CLOSER YOUR CEILING THAN YOUR FLOOR. It blew my mind there were so many agreed with this.

Arizona, gnats and raiders all with one win. We know the cards are not going QB, which leaves the other 2 teams depending on what happens to Carr. So then you will see full sixers mode play out and trusting the process during the rest of the season. Neither team will want to try to get win number 2. Lol

His salary is somewhat steep considering his modest productivity. That might be a problem.

Honestly I haven't even started reviewing prospects yet. It does appear Herbert is the top dog though.
I think he is but if he’s not available I think the prospects go waaaaaaay down. I’ve only seen Herbert play a few times, he’s good but he makes some really stupid decisions which should be correctable but that’s not always the case (see Eli Manning).

Giants want picks, they're starting the complete rebuild, they don't care about Harrison when they're not going to be good for three or four years..
Just saying, I am sure that their first calls to teams to inquire about trading him weren't to teams in our division, and if they had been, they likely would have wanted higher compensation than a 5th.
