Hands down make no mistake about it.
1. Romo
2. Brady
3. Montana
After that the argument gets very difficult but at the end of the day that’s the top 3 right there.

For Tony Romo to take this team and constantly win with a mentally challenged front office and absolutely zero coaching was by far the greatest accomplishment in any sport. This man carried Jason Garrett to an 8 year head coaching gig and a coach of the year award on his shoulders. Tom Brady would have quit football at the age of 30 if he was a Cowboy. Joe Montana would’ve been higher than Michael Irvin’s day off after a win if he was stuck with these two JJ & JG.

I salute you Tony Romo the GOAT. Greatest football player eva!

I guess 8-8 is your qualifications for great. This fan base is lost.

I’ve read a lot of ignorant posts on this board but this one has got to be at the top.

I had to read it twice just to make sure it wasn’t sarcasm. And then he mentions common sense in another post...like he has any.

Maybe not the greatest of all time but he was the best thing this team ever could’ve hoped for. He kept the Dallas Cowboys relevant virtually by himself. At least games were still fun to watch.

Not the GOAT but I'm with you. He deserves tons and tons of recognition for his time in Dallas. What an extraordinary player and top dude, he was/is. Should have two or three rings with a capable GM running things.

It's sickening to think about Jerry giving him the likes of Garrett, Proctor, Costa etc. to win. Not to forget some pathetic Ds.

Half your posts are stupid so we're in the same boat I guess. My one to your over a thousand.

Lol I was agreeing with you about the original post being stupid not yours but whatever...stay in a bad mood for all I care. And I’m flattered you took the time to read half of my posts.

Coaching matters and Romo had a complete clusterfudge of stupidity that actually looks even worse 12 years later. I could understand the hate on Romo if the coaching and front office actually accomplished something.. anything at all??. But they're an absolute joke.

If Romo had played for any other team he would have been massively more appreciated. I almost wish that he had refused to re-sign with the team because he deserved more.

The Romoholic Mantra

When the Cowboys won: “Romo carried the entire team.”

When the Cowboys lost: “Romo can’t be expected to carry the entire team.”

It’s weird how that mantra doesn’t exist today since no one carries anybody. That was the difference between then and now. except for Jerry and his band of misfits! That’s the common denominator of mediocrity.
