Why wasnt the defender flagged for illegal contact or PI on Prescott?

Ball wasn't in the air yet when the contact was made and I'm pretty sure Dak was still within 5 yards of the LOS.

What irks me is if they had gotten even a decent free agent LG along with trade for Earl, this team would at worst be 5-3 right now.

The margin in the NFL is small. Bush league coaches/management leave things on the table which you can't do in this league (you have to play/pay to win NOW).

Not that it matters but how is that not illegal contact or pass interference? Dak is getting shoved on his route.

One, Dak wasn't even beyond the line of scrimmage yet. Two, the contact was initiated before the pass. Three, you're not getting PI on a dumb pass to the QB.
