I am a Michigan fan and I hate watching them play. Talk about unimaginative on offense. It is unbearable!

And by the way - they lose almost every big game they play - just wait until Ohio State - I will be shocked if they win!

This is what Jim's 4th year. So the first 2-3 years he was using the previous coaches players, now that Jim has been able to recruit and put his stamp on the team I think they'll be perennial Big 10 contenders. It's Michigan, they are on national tv a lot, up and coming recruits like that. I do not find them boring at all. Maybe JG and SL should study Michigan film, considering they want to be a running team. I think Michigan can win it all, the D can be suffocating, the O-line has really come into its own and has to be one of the better o-line units and most importantly because they run the ball so much, and I think their D can hang with Alabama and Clemson, their punishing running style may wear be to wear them down. I do not even worry about ND, if Michigan played ND today, it'd be one-sided Michigan. Most importantly Michigan goy Gary and Black back...that's like an NFL team getting 2 pro-bowlers back in the stretch run. The only way I see them losing to OSU ... is just simply because its each team biggest rivalry, so all bets are off in this sense. I just don't see how OSU offence can compete against Michigans D, OSU doesn't have much of a running game.

Jim wants full control. Won't get that here.

Is there any talk of him wanting to leave Michigan?

Ross couldn't get him to leave.

The time to get JH would have been last off season. There was a lot of dissension in the ranks of fanbase, etc. If he ever wanted to leave that would ahve been the time.

With what they are starting to build now, ain't happening.
and I don't think he wants to leave anyways. At least not in the near future.

Jim's Wolverines are the topped ranked D in the country.

I didn't say he cant teach defense. But he runs a 3-4 scheme and that requires different personel than what we have. We switched to a 3-4 under parcells and back to 4-3 for Garrett.

Go watch him on all or nothing..

The guy is a weirdo.

If he could win here then i'm all for it but he's an oddball.

The dream right now is the Saints win the Superbowl, Breese retires, and Payton opts out.

Oh man, Harbaugh is a 'weirdo'... like that is off-putting.

Newsflash. Many of the most successful people in any field of endeavor are considered somewhat odd by their peer group. So what?

I just have a couple problems with him..

1. Is he is super odd. I can get over that.

2. He plays that oldschool brand of football and I don't want more of the Garrett style of football.

I do like the passion he coaches with. He looks like a baby sometimes but I don't mind that. That's a lot better then watching Garrett clap.

Yes, correct ... Jim has a much quicker process. I don't think it will take Jim 8 years to get a competent D...and that's all we got is a competent D, nowhere near elite. This what we got after 8 years of the process, an offence that can not score, and a competent D...

Harbaugh is 44-46 since winning the Super Bowl some years back.

I know is resume is better than Garrett's, but the record lately hasn't been. I say no.

Harbaugh and Jerry Jones would go together like Peanut Butter and Jellyfish.

Another thing I like about Jim is he is not stubborn. He is not afraid of change, or changing course. Everyone thought the QB job was Brandon Peters to lose, as soon as Shea Patterson was available he changed course real quick...if that was JG and he had a chance to sign Jeff Goff (hypothetically), he wouldn't ... because Garrett is too stubborn to admit, the one he chooses, Dak, is not an NFL starting QB. Last season pretty much most analyst and many on here were saying Dak is not good enough...Did they even consider going after Cousins? At least Cousins can get the ball downfield. He turns the ball over too much, but not as much as Dak.

Uhhhhh, the reason he left SF was because of the GM and he's making 9M a year. That's two very good reasons why he wouldn't consider this team.

You don't like JG old-school football because he has no clue about old-school football. Jim's old-school football is played the right way, he uses the pass to set up the run and he makes sure he goes with the hot back. Check out Mason the 260 lb fullback, I've yet to see him stopped on short yardage plays...just straight up the gut. What happened to that fullback we signed from Oakland? I do not believe for a minute JG and SL know anything about old school football, Jim Harbaugh does. Also, a big part of Shea Patterson game is using his legs, I see no indications that Harbaugh holds him back trying to make him a pocket passer. Yet JG has seen that Dak and the O can be effective if Dak incorporates running into the game...JG wants a pocket passer like Romo. Then they should have kept their number and drafted one because Dak is not the guy.

Plus, if he has a long successful coaching career at Michigan, eventually Michigan will name a building after you. That lives on after death. Have to consider the ego as well. LOL

It doesn't matter...the real problem is Jerry and Stephen actually think they know football.
