Think about it ...

Don't we do a pretty good job of "Stomping on the Star' every day on this Board?

It is what it is.

You avenge that kind of thing by playing on the field.

Retaliation, as in win the game? Maybe stand up for your brand? Ahh, never mind.
lol - I don't think football works like that. Either they were capable and prepared or they weren't. The idiot dancing on the star can't change that.

How in the hell did they arrive at that amount? I don't see that as a finable offense. But it was apparent he was planning that if he did do something because he ran immediately to the middle of the field avoiding congrats from his teammates. It was not spontaneous but premediated and maybe that's why?

Don't think it doesn't jazz some of these guys to do something to the team that gets most of the coverage for doing so little on the field. There are actual football teams, playing very well, that do not get equal coverage to a team doing very little.

If the league thinks what the Titans did was excessive, instruct the officials to call an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. I don't understand the fine.

I hate he did that, and think he is a complete awesome person BUT
Goodell’s BS at it again, how do you get fined when it wasn’t even a penalty? We can argue it should have been UUnsportsmanship but it want called
My opinion is based on being a Cowboys fan since birth....

Players get fined for hits that weren't called penalties at the time too.

It's unsportsmanlike conduct. Taunting. And they should call it during games.

I dont believe I have seen the mid field emblem of any other team ever stomped on except the Cowboys. I am not saying it has never happened, I am just saying I have now seen it twice at our field and have not seen it anywhere else.....and I watch a lot of games.

and I remember a bunch of nobodies years ago like Mike Furrey, others throwing the football at the star in Texas Stadium, it is odd

Sad that the Cowboys players didn't have enough pride to do something about it themselves.

It took the league to step in for them.

Did anyone watch the game? Why are so many people under the impression that nobody did anything, when Byron Jones ran over and pushed about 5 guys off the star?

That's what I've been saying too. One guy argued with me about how the Cowboys reacted so differently when TO did his thing on the star. It was George Teague, not the whole team, just like this time it was Byron Jones.

The other point I've made is the majority of the team probably wasn't even aware it was happening. They turned the ball over and the offense was running off the field and the defense was getting ready to take the field, and coaches were yelling instructions. Likely nobody wasputting all this on hold to watch and see where the Titans went to celebrate the INT.

The correct response is to go win the game and then afterward go form a circle around the Star and don't let anybody from the other team cross it! No hand shakes - no niceties - just protect the house!
