Dak was better than Wentz tonight, but Wentz most definitely has much better weapons. It's not even close.

Wentz's weapons:

WRs: Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, Mike Wallace, Jordan Matthews, Golden Tate, Mack Hollins, Shelton Gibson.

TE: Zach Ertz

As you can see^^^... Wentz most definitely has much better talent, experience and weapons surrounding him at WRs and TE. It's not even close.

our wr dont scare anyone in league circles aside from cooper. Even Cooper is a beta dog still learning the playbook. We have better RB. Our line isn't better. And coach isn't better.

There are more than a few Philly fans becoming disillusioned with Wentz. He puts up nice stats but isn't coming through in the clutch, the loss tonight, the endzone INT in the final moments of the game to lose against Carolina , the Titans OT loss, etc. There's quite a few wanting Foles to take over or worrying about paying him $30+ Million/yr for a guy that puts up stats but not wins. They have only scored more than 24 points once this year, and that was against the Giants, and aren't sure he can carry a team like a QB making that amount should.

How does any QB do in that situation? The Eagles RBs averaged 4.5 YPC tonight, which is an average that would rank in the top 12 if it carried throughout the season. The Eagles were passing because they were behind and their passing game is better than their run game, not because they can't do it.

Morris averaged 4.8 YPC for us last year The zone said that wasn't good enough to help Dak.

And citing Morris is a complete strawman, he has averaged less than 4 YPC in 3 of his last four seasons. He only had a 4.8 YPC last year because he was running behind the best OL in football, averaged less than 10 carries per game and had one 70 yard run that the OL set up him to skew his stats.

Wentz looked like nothing special today. In fact he's looked nothing special all year. And that's with a better overall team than the Cowboys (as the Eagles displayed last year by winning the SB with him on the bench. If that isn't a big "we don't need you" I don't know what is.)

I like Foles more than Wentz. Foles was putting out lasers last SB, they were throws Wentz cannot possibly make. On the other hand Wentz cannot extend plays as he used because he totalled his knee. When your fame is based on being a big, mobile QB and all of a sudden you can't utilize all of your strength or mobility, that's a problem. Wentz isn't talented enough to survive as a pure pocket passer.

Eagles can't score more than 20. Continuously chokes in the red zone. Can't take a SB winning team with a creative coach to a winning record.

Wowsers.. We got the win.. celebrate but wow. Why are so many acting like this win was on Dak?!!! We smashed philly with our run game.. Zeke was a monster and that meant that we were able to keep the chains moving and allow Dak to make his little 5 yard pitches out to WRs.

Dak had zero deep plays.. zero 'big plays'... making a 10 yarder is not a big play.. you only think it is because we are so used to bad QB play.

Wentz is the far far far far better QB, but we got the win because our D was better, our RB was a stud and overall their injuries were too much in the secondary.
