What kind of year would Michael Gallup be having?

I think he will be a good receiver for a long time. In a better offense with a more prolific passer and passing attack he could probably put up very good numbers. In Dallas, his career will most likely go by the wayside like so many.

Perhaps you do, maybe not. I don't have an opinion on if you like him, one way or the other. I do know that I don't even kinda agree with your take on evaluating players. Who in their right mind looks at a guy like Gallup and comes to the conclusion that they will or will not be Top 10 or Low Tier, at this point in their development. That's on you and you own that. I don't feel like it's me who has the problem here but if that's what you would prefer to believe, that's fine too.

I think he could be very good too. OROY no. We are a running team and everything goes thru Zeke. Our playcalling is also bad. We have receivers doing curl routes all day long and they stand around when the play breaks down. That's a coaching issue when our receivers just stand around when the plays break down.
 
I fully expect to see Gallup have a big game, I think as they get a better feel for each other Dak and Gallup will start connecting more often.

Some of it was his doing. He doesn't run good routes and just stand around when the plays break down. Then when the team needs a big play he would fumble or drop a pass that lands into the arms of the defense.

He would have been a hall of famer had he not acted like one. I guess the Cowboys got tired of his temper tantrums on the sidelines and sent him packing.
 
The concept of having a 1WR and a 2WR and so on and so forth is confusing for some, IMO. The WR position does different things when lined up at different places on the line. WRs tend to specialize at being lined up at a specific place on the line. But there are certain players at the WR position that can play very well no matter where they are lined up on the line. It's time we stopped automatically calling the WR lined up at the "X" position our 1WR. Likewise, it's time we stopped automatically calling the WR lined up at the "Y" position our 2WR. Likewise, our WR playing in the "Slot" position is not automatically our 3WR. For example, Beasley is an amazing slot WR but has never been 3rd best on our team. Beasley has arguably been our best receiver on the team at times but we don't line him up at the "X" or "Y" position because of his height. The "X" and "Y" position tend to be a guy that can out jump his coverage and catch a ball at its "high point" if the QB throws it correctly. Naturally, a WR that can reliably play the "X" position is the 1WR but until Amari Cooper came aboard, we did not have that 1WR guy this season. Players like Micheal Gallop and Noah Brown are natural "Y" position players because of their developmental status. They are young guys that have potential but have not proven themselves to be reliable. They are expected to be able to fill in at the "X" when our true "X" WR is unable to play. In those moments our "X" WR is not the 1WR and our "Slot" WR is not our 3WR.

No disguise.

It is what it is.. Dak's not very good. The first chance we get to upgrade we need to take it or our passing game will keep suffering.

I think Gallup is possibly in the OROY conversation if we had a better QB.
