I just want to openly admit that during the draft I was openly against the LVE pick. I was obviously wrong and couldn’t be more happy with what he’s done since he’s been on this team. The guy rocks and seems like a good dude all around (which is a big deal to me).
Just wanted to get that off my back

Give credit to the scouts. Broaddus thought the Cowboys were going to draft him early in the process. That's the BSU PIPELINE.Good of you and others to say... I was the guy from Boise who watched him for two years at BSU and attended his pro day. I told everyone before and during the draft that guys that big don't move that quick, and guys that have as many tackles as he had have tremendous instincts. I didn't think he would be this productive this fast, but knew he was a far better prospect than Rashaan Evans or Ridley. We will look back in a year or two and wonder how on earth he slipped to the 19th pick.
Unless Vea drops I really like LVE as the pick if we go defense. I prefer versatile linebackers with coverage ability, LVE is a player who has shown a dramatic ability to improve over short periods of time when given the chance to play. The fact that he's also fast enough to play sideline to sideline and nimble enough to thread through the trash on run plays is impressive, particularly when you realize he looks like a giant downhill thumper with at his size. His technique is pretty raw when it comes to shedding blocks but given his combination of size and long arms I fully expect that in a year of training or less he'll be solid at that too.
The only thing I see holding him back is if he's somehow not motivated to train, but I've seen nothing to show he's lazy or a headcase. You don't go from 8-man to walk on at Boise State to his level of production unless you're willing to put in some serious work.
I’m just pretty surprised how much company I have! I fogured a couple other people may have joined me in saying they were wromg nut not this many. It’s kind of bitter sweet though, I love Sean Lee but LVE will be his demise. I know that’s the way it goes but it doesn’t make it easy.Man crush!!!!
Very cool. I don't mind saying and I know that I have lately that I was fully onboard with him even prior to the pick. Just your average big time fan that has spent way too much time following the ups and downs of our D Cowboys. Now we need the QB!I just want to openly admit that during the draft I was openly against the LVE pick. #55 was the guy I was adamant about scooping up in the first round, just because of the overpressured player #50 & his seasonal history.Been excited with this pick since we drafted him, I was disappointed we didn't go grab Derwin James but I could care less now. Glad we got LVE, LVE makes much more sense seeing as how Lee is older and oft injured.
