I’m well aware of what happened.

Some people find it obnoxious that some posters are still crying about it and rubbing it in their faces whenever Wentz plays well.

Like I said. If they want to do so, that’s their choice. But then they can’t really be upset when other people
fire back.

The cowboys didn’t draft Wentz. It’s over. Obsessing about it for years won’t do any good. Now if people want to discuss QB’s available in the draft or free agency this year. That seems more reasonable to me.

If people want it to stop, stop exaggerating about Wentz and making up stupid nicknames for him like we have anything on him. It's the same thing with McNabb and the chunky stuff - I didn't like McNabb, but he got to a Super Bowl and had some good years in the league while we were in the dark ages rotating veteran, a second rounder, and some scrubs from MLB before getting to Romo...

Again, how exactly does tossing 3 INT's in one game take away from his interception totals? This is what people are pointing out, you choose to put on rosy glasses for one guy while trying to slander another even though their stats are entirely similar this year.

....how is this hard to understand? Having one bad game of high INTs rather than 6 INTs that were spread out in each game. Do you understand this? He's had one game with multiple INTs...

And I'm not even saying Dak is bad in this category, this is why he's a bus driver similar to Smith.

He was the leading contender for NFL MVP before he got hurt last year. He was playing just as well before today's game. He was averaging 310 yard per game to Dak's 215.

Dak is somewhere between the 13th - 22nd best starting QB in the league depending on how big a homer/hater you are. Wentz is in the conversation of non Rodgers/Brady/Brees/Mahomes 5th best QB in the league coming off a terrible injury.

I have no idea what rebuttal you want me to make that isn't painfully obvious.

I was cleaning my .257 ackley improved as dak led us to 3 scores on the final 4 drives and drove a stake into the falcon's hearts. great performance. the eagles/saints really wasn't about wentz or the eagles. it was more about is there any weakness on the saints team. juggernauts. steamrollers.

Why? What makes Wentz a target? Doesn't seem like a bad dude, he's a good player - just because he wears an Eagles jersey? There is a point where there is competitive talk and absolute vitriol that seems to come from jealousy.

You shouldn't need to tear down Wentz to prop up Prescott - Prescott's play should do that alone, but since he's failing to live up to what most of you thought he'd be in 2016, you have to make other QBs out to be lesser.

This form of homerism is cancerous and kills critical thinking - I won't be a gatekeeper, but I will counter dumb arguments.

All the weight in Dak's stats are frontloaded to Year One. He plainly sucks in the passing game since midway last season. To argue otherwise is to expose one's self as blindered.
