Lol sounds you need to learn how to cook a turkey....you turkey

I can cook one fine. Roasted, smoked, deep fried, it's still garbage. Throw off the shackles of your Butterball oppressors and put some effort into making a better meal to share with family.

Turkey is awful. Have a better meal and stop supporting the producers of this dumb, tasteless bird.
I've never cared for Turkey or any fowl. Love the stuffing, casseroles, etc. Just one of my many quirks.
Going with the ham, potatoes & stuffing for my base feast. Add a few of the other sides available & then wonder why I ate sooo dang much. Only to force myself into topping it off tasting at least 3 of the desserts.

Thanksgiving menu doesn't vary much with my family......traditional every year:

Roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, candied yams, corn, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, hot rolls.....chocolate merengue pie, pumpkin pie....iced tea.

Going over to my Uncles house for Thanksgiving dinner, he's going to deep dry two turkeys and we're having most of the traditional Thanksgiving sides! Bonus points my Uncle, Aunt, and Cousin also happen to be Cowboys fans. So, we will have a extra fun time if the Cowboys end up winning today! :)

Not getting together with family until tomorrow due to schedules.

Kids and I are doing snack foods today as a result. Sausage and cheese from the local butcher. Cheeseburger sliders, chicken wings, beer cheese brat dip (maybe I need to run that by AbeBeta first as Wisconsinites know nothing about cheese and brats), mini weiners, and pickle wraps.

Root beer floats for them later.

Not a fan of Turkey. I have a duck breast in the sous vide. In a couple of hours I will sear it in a cast iron skillet and deglaze it with some citrus port wine with cherries. I love Stuffing, I eat it year round.

I had two duck breasts with our usual, last Christmas!! They were moist and delicious.
