It is easy to tear down a player. Just give credit to something else. Romo 2014 playoffs...Twills 2 touchdown receptions on short passes and long runs made Romo look better. Dez’s one long reception was a YAC in the Detroit game. Take away those 3 passes and Romo sucked in the playoffs. We shouldn’t credit him in those games.

This is classic deep end reaction. Someone says something critical about a player they're a "hater"; someone doesn't agree with your opinion on a player they're "tearing him down."

Look, replace the name Dak for Joe Blow and I'd say the same thing. The same way I think it's silly to act like McNabb did something special on that long touchdown to TO, is the same way I'm not going to act like Dak is the Second Coming of Joe Montana for that 5-yard slant to Cooper. Dak's made some tremendous throws (particularly in 2016; TD to Brice Butler vs. Packers comes to mind), but I'll save the heaping praise for when he deserves it.

Dak threw it to Coop when he was doubled on that 90 yard td play... you still wont give Dak credit bro broski lol

So now we're giving Dak credit for YAC?
It's given to every other qb. Lol when a qb throws for 275 and 75 was on a bubble screen, it's still 275 even though the QB did nothing special. I never see other qbs throw for X amount of yds and people take away yds that the wr got on his own and say, well he threw for 300 but 100 was on a miss tackle and a bubble screen pass so he really only threw for 200.

You clearly don't know how the YAC stat works, lol.

Dak was playing an awful game today.

Two short throws that Amari took the distance does not change that.

Literally 20% of the OP's passing total for DAk came on those two throws today. Think about that.
that is true of any qb passing stats, sometimes it is run after catch, or just a great catch, not really a great pass.

What your missing is Dak isnt playing for pretty stats, he is playing to win games, that is his only job.
He is 3-0 since cooper joined the team.
He had 0 turnovers today.

The main reason wash lost was their 3 turnovers.
Dak isnt a great qb and with no one teaching him anything of value, he wont get any better than he is now.
I think he is avg qb, if the jones boys would let him run read option more he would be better, but they dont
want him running.

Most teams have average qb's and finding a very good to great qb is hard to do It took cleveland 20 years.
I dont care about daks stats except turnovers, and does he win or lose.

and the cowboys are not going to SB even if they had a better qb.

D. Prescott 22-31, 289 YDS, 2 TD

C. McCoy 24-38, 268 YDS, 2 TD, 3 INT

Both the same, except the 3 int, turnovers lose games and dak is usually pretty good about not turning it over.

Clearly I do. Another thing that is clear is, if a wr gets catches a 5 yd pass and gets 70 yds after he catches it, the QB get credit for 75 yds . Lol there is no * saying but the QB only gets credit for 5 yds because the db missed the tackle and that's the reason the WR got the rest of the 75, nothing to do with the QB. Lol only cowboy fans do that with dak

Both the same EXCEPT FOR THE 3 INT. lmao I would say that is a pretty big difference. Can you imagine if i came in here after a game, win or loss, and say Dak numberswere the same as the opposing QB except the 3 ints? Lol that would be good stuff

Very true, and by the way, all QBs need clean pockets.

So true. Look at Brady who many call the “goat” when he doesn’t have a clean pocket.. the dude basically lays down the majority of the time. I love how Dak has the Romo ability about him to make something out of nothing, or at least try.

Note when the Commanders were sacking Dak in the first half how he suddenly started throwing bad passes? This goes back to what I think is his problem. He needs a clean pocket.

But one of the big factors is that Dallas had crappy field position all day and Linehan was calling some stupid plays during the second quarter. My opinion.

Dak has an issue with multi-tasking. Like usual, he didn't have to take some of those sacks. But, I think he finds it hard to focus on his reads, while paying attention to pressure. I am actually not knocking Dak for that, because it is actually a common male thing lol.

They did an experiment a long time ago...

3 people told stories while talking at the same time.

The 3 people were talking to males, and females.

The men, got most of the facts right about one story.

The women got multiple facts right, and many wrong, about all of the stories. But, they were able to actually listen to all of it at once, where the males tuned out 2 people, focusing on one.
