He’s just not good. He’s ok but without this defense and 21 this team is a top 3 draft pick.

His footwork in the pocket makes him inaccurate, and he holds the ball too long. Unfortunately, his ceiling may not be much higher. Andy Dalton is a fairly solid QB but the fans have been trying to get rid of him for years now. The league has pushed to make the QB the perceived face of the franchise so when you turn on your TV and your QB isn’t contributing in the way you think he should (fairly or not) then he’s an easy target.

I think Dak is a great guy, an incredible football player andna fantastic athlete. As a QB, I think he's just an above average prospect. I call him a prospect still, because as much as I am disappointed in his play frequently, I really believe he's been severely handicapped by the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach.
