Why are Dak Haters so blind? Does their hatred cloud their vision?

Dak went 24-28 and played a very gutsy game. He ran the offense to a 37-23 minute time advantage over NO’s. He fumbled twice when his pass blocking broke down almost immediately. Just about every QB would have fumbled in the same situations. In the 2nd half the pass blocking was atrocious, but do ANY of the haters bring up the poor pass blocking! Hel_ no!!! Dak, helped win this game regardless of what the haters think.

Dak is still developing, there are still holes in his game just like any other young QB. There are valid criticisms but most people overlook his leadership, clutch play and running ability.

But there are a few people that just hate him irrationally.

Dak isn't perfect and makes some bad mistakes. They choose to focus on that and completely overlook or explain away all the great things he does.

They want one particular thing, and since he isn't that thing right now, they want him out.

Great first half. Good overall game. Really bad mistakes late that didn’t turn out to hurt us.

The fumbles were bad. You can’t sugarcoat it by trying to blame the OL. He has to protect the ball better.

Great throw early to Gallup but missing him late was a huge blunder. Luckily the defense stymied Brees.

I think Dak is good enough to win with a stud RB and a stud O-line. Throw in a stud defense and we should be fine but QBs shouldn't have contingencies.

I'm not traditionally a "Dak hater" like quite a few around here, but the dude had the chance to win this game in the third quarter and the defense had to bail him out.

Think about it. We won a game against one of the most efficient and prolific passers in NFL history despite not scoring once in the second half. Dak doesn't get a pass here, he still has a lot he needs to clean up. Especially coughing up the football and hitting long passes.

He made great throws in the first half and played really well. Not so much in the second half. But he has heart. He just isn't talented enough as a passer to help us win a championship. That is why most of us "hate him".

I WANT him to play amazing all the time, but he's very very inconsistent and below average in a few very important areas. It's not like we rag on him for no reason.

Many of the haters are not really Cowboys fans.

There is an Eagles fan here that pretends to be a Cowboys fan. It allows him to constantly troll Cowboys fans. He has been here many years.

He had an excellent first half, but he was pretty pedestrian in the second half........Part of the reason you feel like there are so many "haters" is because you over hype him, which makes people want to point out his flaws.

For example, the time he threw his Gatorade cup and missed the trash. When he went and picked it up, people acted like he was Jesus, come to save our souls with his divine light. As if nobody else would ever have picked up his own trash. That almost made me not like him, just to keep from being associated with those people.

I like Dak, and I truly hope he becomes as great as some people think he already is. In fact, nothing would please me more than to see him turn into the greatest Cowboys QB of all time.......but I'm not hopping on the train until I see the destination in black and white.

It's not about hate...It's about stats. 208 yards....and putting the ball on the carpet repeatedly is not gonna cut it long term. We got lucky tonight. If that game was in New Orleans...You trying to tell me...you would have felt comfortable w/ Brees having the football down 13-10??? We dominated that game...yet we were just hanging on because our QB continues to turn it over.

8 sacks? Are you kidding me? 6 of them were on him because he’s clueless in the pocket. Only Randy Gregory’s stupid mistakes overshadowed Dak’s sack-taking prowess. Missing Gallup wide open when he could’ve walked in is the difference between a great QB and a pedestrian QB like ours.

..Romo doesn't run for those 1st downs. Dak does. They are two different types of people in the world: Those that run for cover; those that run full speed ahead.

Did you notice Drew Brees was struggling vs our pass rush. Dak was struggling vs their pass rush too in the 2nd half. Even the best QB’s need decent pass blocking. Dak was not getting it in the 2nd half. I don’t understand how fans can’t see how bad this O line pass blocks at times. La’ll was a turnstile in the 2nd half.
